Strangest. Election. Ever.

By now, it should be apparent to everyone that Hillz is sick, and has been for quite some time. Even with the media scrambling to soften the scope of her illness, the voters are seeing independent videos of her falling, fainting, coughing, choking, and generally looking like death-warmed-over.

I have no doubt that there is a game afoot; a nefarious plot to install a hand-picked president. A globalist president. Surely the powerful elites have known all along that Hillary is feeble and chronically ill.  Backing her for the presidency is intentional; when her illness disqualifies her, *THEY* will step in and select a candidate of their choosing.

I have a bad feeling about this one.

Torches and Pitchforks in Wisconsin?

It appears that Paul Ryan may be in trouble. From Breitbart:
Following a new primary election poll showing that House Speaker Paul  Ryan has plummeted to well below 50 percent in his home district,   Ryan is out with new mailers assuring Wisconsin voters of his desire to secure the border, and urging them to support him in his contentious August 9th primary election.
The new mailers touting Ryan’s support for border security is interesting given that just last year, Ryan championed a spending bill that fully funded President Obama’s open borders agenda– including funding sanctuary cities, executive amnesty, and the release of criminal aliens. The mailers also come amid new reports indicating that, one month after his election, Ryan plans to bring up “criminal sentencing” measures that could release thousands of criminal illegal aliens from prison onto the streets.
*snip*
“The only thing more disturbing than Paul Ryan’s refusal to secure the border is the extent to which he is comfortable lying about it,” Nehlen said.
“As long as Paul Ryan is in Congress, immigration will never be reduced, the border will never be secured, radical Islam will never be kept off our shores, and our children will never be safe,” Nehlen continued. “He is wholly owned by his donors, and his donors want open borders. When was the last time Ryan ever fought hard for something that his donors opposed? If Ryan remains, we can kiss our borders, our safety, and our sovereignty goodbye.”
I admit that Ryan has been a huge disappointment to me.  Power and money are always seductive. Ryan didn't have the moral fiber to resist their siren song, and now Wisconsin voters will determine his fate.

I Am An Ignorant Low Information Bastard

That's good to know. Thanks Larry. Love ya too. From Larry Correia's facebook page and posted without further comment.

Well, we're boned. It's going to be huckster fraud democrat against lying criminal democrat.
Half the GOP hates the jackass. Question now is what percentage of us stay home or make a 3rd party protest vote. All those crossover democrats who voted for that orange half wit in the primaries will go back to voting democrat in the general election. He thinks young Bernie voters are going to vote for him? Fool.
I've voted republican in every election of my adult life. I've volunteered and donated money. I can't in good conscience vote for this vile populist demagogue. If even a few percentage points of the GOP feels the same way, that's it. He's toast in the general.
So he energizes the democrats, so they'll feel like they are fighting tyranny (now comes the great part where all the fawning media coverage turns on him) and he demotivates the republican base.
All the kid glove BS from this season is over. Every vile nasty stupid thing he has ever done will be covered 24/7. By November he will be the most laughed at and despised candidate in history. Because he makes it too easy.
So the classless boor probably loses to the sea hag. Not that it matters too much, since they'd both govern as authoritarian democrats, only one has more nationalist rah rah thrown in.
Spare me the nonsense about lesser evils and SCOTUS judges. He won't make it that far. And by some miracle, like Hillary has a stroke, this rambling ignoramus wins, he would still screw that up somehow in his one term. Big question is does he suck enough to take the GOP with him?
And if you think he is going to actually build a wall, you are a sucker.
Did I love Cruz? No. Because I was hiring an employee, not a god. He was the least likely to rape the Constitution. Instead we get an authoritarian, who is either lying, or made it to 70 before understanding basic American principles about liberty.
You ignorant low information bastards. Motivated by fear and anger, you overlooked every gain made over the last few cycles, and traded it in to a lying huckster democrat for some magic beans. So you could stick it to the establishment, by electing the shit bird who funded them.
Edit to add, don't bother posting to argue. We are past that. Now we batten down the hatches and get ready for the suck. If you want to gloat, you are an idiot who doesn't realize what you have wrought. If you feel disrespected, good. You should.

Fighting The Good Fight?

Here's a very good article at the Conservative Treehouse about the mess in Burns, Oregon. This part of the saga really bothered me:
"In October 2015, the 9th District Court “resentenced” Dwight and Steven, requiring them to return to prison for several more years. Steven (46) has a wife and 3 children. Dwight (74) will leave Susan (74) to be alone after 55 years of marriage. If he survives, he will be 79 when he is released."
How can these guys be "resentenced" after they've already served their time? That stinks. Actually, this entire story stinks.

This won't end well. I question the sanity of the men staging this "protest", especially when they're bringing women and children to the standoff location. Are they intentionally provoking the Obama regime into a Waco/Ruby Ridge response? The attorney general hates her some white cracka people, and the prezzy could gain some street cred with the hood rats if he slaughters these families. Will he? Will he order them all killed?

No, this won't end well. If anything happens to these patriots (however misguided), the grassroots outrage and backlash will be brutal.  I'm just not sure our prezzy is smart enough to see the trap for what it is.  Whether it's a genuine protest or a false flag operation to expedite gun control legislation, it's playing with matches in a tinder box.

More On The Invasion Of Europe

Article from the Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet.

There is chaos in Berlin, where the authorities are being sued by refugees who demand money
Right now a train arrives in Berlin with approximately 450 refugees daily — where authorities are pushed to the limit. Between 350 and up to a total of up to 800 find their way, every day, to Germany’s capital.
The tens of thousands of predominantly young men, who have, in recent months arrived in increasing numbers from many countries, must first queue in front of the foreigners’ agency in Lageso in the district of Moabit.
It is going to go horribly wrong.
Here, in the middle of Berlin, around 50,000 refugees and migrants are expected this year. Frustration prevails, anxiety and sometimes chaos — because the queues are endless, and now comes the cold.

Anyone who watches the uncontrolled masses and their behavior can see very clearly that Austria has long lost its sovereignty over its borders. Neither a few ramshackle patrols nor the few remaining police have any effect here — especially not when there is a clear and blatant lack of political will and operative commands.
Also:

Western toilets are phooey!
Mobility is an across-the-board problem nowadays for the indigenous population. For the longest time, all train traffic has been completely halted to and from Nickelsdorf; the trains stopped at the station before the town. And here you see the same picture you can see with the Railjets of the ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railway) in all trains that were used to transport immigrants: All railway wagons were extremely filthy beyond the acceptable. The trains had to be cleaned and disinfected. Many cars were rendered useless due to the contamination of feces. Many of the immigrants of the Near and Middle East have no use for Western toilets — just as they have no use for our idea of garbage disposal. The local garbage collection locations at the most were used as convenient pissoirs.

Cholera. Hepatitis. Typhoid. Rota, Nora....to name a few of the diseases that will become rampant under these unsanitary conditions.  How will Europe cope with sheltering, feeding, and providing medical care to this onslaught of people?

Pulitzer Prize Winning Columnist Gets Her Panties In A Bunch

Whether or not I agree with her opinions, Kathleen Parker is a good writer and a good columnist. This column about Paul Ryan made me wonder what her game is. Obviously the "talking point of the day" is the evilly evil Freedom Causus. *spit* But why is she encouraging Ryan to just say no?

I think the left (and the cucks) are scared sh*tless of Ryan. They should be. He may be the only one who can talk turkey with the patriots of the Freedom Caucus.

From her article:

"Methinks those who protest way too much will miss the generosity of those they stabbed in the back. Ryan, meanwhile, would do well to let history guide him. No good deed goes unpunished with this crowd. Soon enough, the Freedom Caucus gang will make life miserable for the next speaker, and then what?
Whoever takes the job had best have no further aspirations. This isn’t to diminish the office, which is a noble position and no meager endgame. But few think Ryan has no higher aspirations. Thus, the question isn’t should he run for speaker but why should he?"
I think Ryan would be great as Speaker, and I'm fairly confident he'll answer the call to serve. He's that kind of guy.

Perusing the list of Freedom Caucus members, I noticed that my congressman is not on the list. Time to send him another email. I sure as hell hope somebody runs against him in the next election; Steve Womack has been a disappointment. We have 4 repub reps from Arkansas, and not one of them has the balls to fight with the Freedom Caucus.

From wiki, here is a list of the brave men fighting for us:

Constitutional Trivia That's Not So Trivial

I did not know that the Speaker of the House DOES NOT have to be a member of the House. How come I didn't know that? Did I know it and just forgot that I knew it? *insert old-gal shrug here*

So, do you all think Romney or Gingrich might land the position? Or is Ryan a shoo-in now that McCarthy has dropped out? Or will Boehner hang on kicking and screaming? Or will one of the right wing "extremists" prevail?

Connecticut Declares Public Health Emergency

What does Dannel Malloy, the governor of Connecticut, know that we don't?
"I hereby declare a public health emergency for the State, pursuant to the Connecticut General Statutes Section 19a-131a, for the duration of the epidemic. Specifically, in accordance with Connecticut General Statutes Section 19a-131b, I authorize the Commissioner of Public Health to Order the isolation or quarantine, under conditions prescribed by the Commissioner of Public Health, of any individual or group of individuals whom the Commissioner reasonably believes to have been exposed to, infected with, or otherwise at risk of passing the Ebola virus."
Read more at Zero Hedge.

I've been following the Ebola epidemic closely, as well as the spread of Enterovirus D68 and the Dengue Fever outbreak in Asia. My fear is that there could be hundreds, or even thousands, of cases in America before the media acknowledges there is an epidemic. Protect yourself friends. The best way to stop an epidemic is to lock down the population; we could all be stuck in our homes for as long as 3 weeks. Stock up food, water, and medications to last this duration, as well as bleach for disinfecting surfaces if someone in your family gets sick.

Ebola is normally self-limiting, as is Dengue, and I expect these strains will follow suit. However, it never hurts to be prepared.

The Enterovirus is more worrisome, as it targets children and mimics polio in some cases. Five kids have died, and more have experienced paralysis. Adults have an easier time handling the virus.

Widespread bouts of disease may be the "new normal" until we get a president that's serious about protecting the health of Americans. Unfortunately, the CDC has become another NASA; poorly led, badly staffed, and lacking direction and vision. Don't depend on any government entity to protect you and your family.

Eurosceptic Wins Big

UKIP wins their first seat in UK House of Commons in a by-election.  The General Election is scheduled for May 7, 2015.

Could this be the start of an outbreak of common sense somewhere in the world.  Please.  Pretty please.

Old News, I'm Sure

I know you have seen this, but just in case you have not had a chance to read the New York Times, or watch CNN or MSNBC, I thought I would would bring this to your attention; even though it is making headlines on all the MSM sites.

Uh huh. Sure it is.

Fox: Dow Smashes All-Time High

And the economy is perky! Very very perky!

Meanwhile, on my way home from work I caught a couple of minutes of Hannity on the radio. He phoned his broker today and is exiting the stock market as fast as he can. He publicly advised his listeners to do the same.

The crash cometh.

Ramblings of the Mind

Lots of deep thought at the Table today. Maybe it is something in the coffee. Here are some thoughts I have had. Some of the questions I posed are things about which I have an impression or might have heard: feel free to correct me if I am wrong. But here are some things that have been running through my mind.

Surviving The Looming Catastrophe

Here is an excellent column by Janet Daley of The Telegraph. A snippet:

The Tea Party faction within the Republican party was demanding that, before any further steps were taken, there must be a debate about where all this was going. They had seen the future toward which they were being pushed, and it didn’t work. They were convinced that the entitlement culture and benefits programmes which the Democrats were determined to preserve and extend with tax rises could only lead to the diminution of that robust economic freedom that had created the American historical miracle.

And, again contrary to prevailing wisdom, their view is not naive and parochial: it is corroborated by the European experience. By rights, it should be Europe that is immersed in this debate, but its leaders are so steeped in the sacred texts of social democracy that they cannot admit the force of the contradictions which they are now hopelessly trying to evade.

Compromise That's Not a Solution Is a Waste of Time

Marco Rubio with fifteen minutes of sheer brilliance on the floor of the Senate.

Notice John Kerry (D-DidyouknowheservedinVietNam) admitting the Obama was just blowing smoke in 2006. Either what Obama said then was an honest assessment, or he was lying. Either raising the debt limit means the President has not been a good leader or it does not. Being Democrat means never having to say the same thing twice.

It's Here. Maybe.

Okay ladies and gents, drumroll please! The Royal Birth Certificate.

Frankly, I'm bored to tears with the whole birther thing, but I do wonder why it took Obama this long to release the damn document.  And now that it has been released, two things come to mind:  isn't it supposed to be stamped with an imprint?  My long form BC is.  Also, why is he releasing it now?  Is he trying to divert attention from something else?

Yes, I have a suspicious mind.  Noah says the whole document looks photoshopped, but he's a cranky old fart.  What do you all think?

The Sky Is Falling!

The NYT editorial page is having a full-blown hyperbole attack this morning over the debt ceiling issue.  They don't even realize how utterly ridiculous they sound:

However, nothing sensible or mature is on the horizon. Republicans have vowed to extract more heedless spending cuts in exchange for their votes to raise the debt limit. To that end, they seem likely to demand changes to the budget process, like a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution, or spending caps.

A balanced budget amendment?  Spending caps?  Quelle horreur!

Worse, the amendment would hold annual spending to 18 percent of the previous year’s gross domestic product, a formula that works out to about 16.7 percent in the proposal’s early years, according to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. That is a level last seen in 1956 — a time before Medicare, before the interstate highways, when many baby boomers were not yet born, never mind aging into retirement.

Well, that's just beyond the pale!  18% of the previous year's gross domestic product?  Think of the old people!  The poor, needy interstates!  The bridges to nowhere!  The...the....baby seals!  We certainly can't boot a few tens of millions of people off the welfare/medicaid rolls.  Many of them may drive nicer cars and have pricier toys than the rest of us, but that's no reason to snatch back their right to a handout.

Sharply lower spending would, in turn, allow for big tax cuts. Those tax cuts would be virtually irreversible, since the amendment calls for a two-thirds vote of both houses to raise taxes.

Er, isn't that the idea?  Oh wait, now I get it!  How can the progressives buy votes from the recipients of the Obama-bucks if the "free" money isn't extorted from the working, middle, and upper classes?   It's not fair!  Waaahhh!

The White House and Congressional Democrats must not allow themselves to be taken hostage again.

Oh brother.  Hahahaha!  Taken hostage, huh?  The Conservatives don't want to take you idiots hostage; we want to send you home, and force you to live in the sewer you've created with your bullcrap.

The Old Gray Lady is gasping her last breath.  Soon she'll be tits-up, and her editorial staff will be standing on an unemployment line with no marketable skills to offer.  Good.

And In This Corner...

This could be a whopper of a prize fight!

A feud has broken out between Rush Limbaugh and the so-called "All Star Panel" on Fox News' "Special Report" over the panel's praise for President Obama's speech at the memorial for the Arizona shooting victims. Speaking on his radio show Thursday, Limbaugh slammed the panelists--which, on the night of the speech, were Brit Hume, Charles Krauthammer and Chris Wallace--for their positive comments.

"They were slobbering over it for the predictable reasons," he said. "It was smart, it was articulate, it was oratorical. It was, it was all the things the educated, ruling class wants their members to be and sound like."

On Thursday night's "Special Report," host Bret Baier played the Limbaugh clip and asked Krauthammer--who had called the speech "quite remarkable and extremely effective"--for his reaction.

"As one of the three slobberers...I find it interesting that only the ruling class wants a president who is smart articulate and oratorical in delivering a funeral oration," Krauthammer said. "It's an odd and rather condescending view of what the rest of America is looking for in their president.

Meltdown!

As Democrats brace for a November wave that threatens their control of the House, party leaders are preparing a brutal triage of their own members in hopes of saving enough seats to keep a slim grip on the majority.
In the next two weeks, Democratic leaders will review new polls and other data that show whether vulnerable incumbents have a path to victory. If not, the party is poised to redirect money to concentrate on trying to protect up to two dozen lawmakers who appear to be in the strongest position to fend off their challengers.

I've never seen anything quite like the panic and desperation that's gripping the Democratic Party.  Pelosi and her ratpack are grabbing people by the lapels and throwing them overboard, a strategy sure to alienate more of their crumbling base, and possibly even swell the ranks of the tea party protesters.

November is right around the corner.
