Our Turn Comes in November

Britain's message to the globalists, banksters, self-proclaimed social "elites", and welfare trash:

Shamelessly stolen from Frank on FB.

Crazy Train and the GOPe

I guess we'll just have to wait and see who the Big Guys select for us. Voting is SO yesterday's politics....

Laughter Is The Best Medicine

This silly article was published at the NYT, correlating Trump supporters with a variety of traits, including no education and living in mobile homes. Some of the comments are priceless, but one, written by poster "fourteen" from Boston, had me literally laughing out loud:
This is a fun but not very meaningful article. Your test of correlation strength is useless without a test of significance. And your highest strength of 0.61 is way below what is needed to "examine what factors predict a high level of Trump support relative to the total number of registered voters." 0.61 has an insignificant r-squared of 36%

I enjoyed the mobile home predictor. You might also consider testing the correlation of Trumpism with hurricane incidence.

Additional variables for follow-on research are: wearing wife-beater t-shirts, ownership of pick-ups with American flag decals, obesity, burping, loud mufflers, tattoos, Budweiser drinkers, TV watchers, and the name "Bubba."
Funny stuff!

Kanye West Is A F*cking Retard

Here's a giant snifter of sanity in a crazy world. Thank you Gavin McInnes.
"We are so cloaked in guilt we can’t see the fool lampooning our fear. I don’t get it. Kanye West is a fucking retard, and as a true egalitarian I enjoy making fun of him. If you were truly nonracist, you would too."
Read the whole thing. Definitely NSFW or kids.

Cuckservative-Time to Ruffle Some Feathers

I just ordered this for my kindle fire:

It should create quite a stir, what with the establishment Rs and the progressive point-and-shriekers singing kumbaya together these days.  I read Vox's last book, SJW's Always Lie, and I highly recommend it. I'll let you know what I think about "Cuckservatives". Who knows, maybe I'll be offended and hurt. *sniff* Has anyone seen my safe place?

I'm certain buying these two books, plus reading Vox's blog every day (as well as Gates of Vienna, Vlad Tepes, and Every Joe) , will put me on some kind of Loretta Lynch "dangerous creaky old not black not moslem, highly privileged granny" list. Oh wait....TCKT did that. Hah! And no, Loretta, I won't shut up.

And In This Corner...

POW!!! BIFF!!! OOMPH!!!

I haven't read the book, but I enjoyed O'Reilly's other "Killing" books. It seems to me that Fox News is imploding; Kelly has lost some of her fan base after cuck-cuck-cucking all over the place, and Shep (bless his heart) needs to be put on the porch with a cocktail. George Will's  opinion has been disregarded for ages, and O'Reilly is, well, getting stale. Or is stale. Or was stale years ago.

Stating The Obvious

From Dienekes:
Psychologists have demonstrated the value of diversity – particularly diversity of viewpoints – for enhancing creativity, discovery, and problem solving. But one key type of viewpoint diversity is lacking in academic psychology in general and social psychology in particular: political diversity. This article reviews the available evidence and finds support for four claims: (1) Academic psychology once had considerable political diversity, but has lost nearly all of it in the last 50 years. (2) This lack of political diversity can undermine the validity of social psychological science via mechanisms such as the embedding of liberal values into research questions and methods, steering researchers away from important but politically unpalatable research topics, and producing conclusions that mischaracterize liberals and conservatives alike. (3) Increased political diversity would improve social psychological science by reducing the impact of bias mechanisms such as confirmation bias, and by empowering dissenting minorities to improve the quality of the majority's thinking. (4) The underrepresentation of non-liberals in social psychology is most likely due to a combination of self-selection, hostile climate, and discrimination. We close with recommendations for increasing political diversity in social psychology.
Ya think?

The Word Of The Week Is...

Cuckservative. From the pen of Charles C. Johnson (not the same guy as the pony-tailed freak show we all once knew):

“Cuckservative” isn’t about race but about how much power you allow the word “racist” to have over you. It’s about the fake, phony conservatives who enjoy watching the real fighters on the right get sodomized while they gleefully gawk. They crave respectability over power and the limelight over influence. Seldom paid for their performances on Fox News or MSNBC, they repeat conventional wisdom after getting gussied up—but you can’t polish a soul.
It's a good piece; angry, fed-up, and mad-as-hell. I don't claim to understand all the nuances of this tag but I do know an enormous fracture when I see one. The true conservatives are splitting from the talking-head/make-a-buck/progressive collaborator "conservatives", and they're not doing it quietly.

All I can say is: it's about damn time.

It's fascinating how the camps are lining up. I wonder if this schism will affect the presidential race? Many people who are disgusted with the whole process may now, for the first time really, have a voice that's as angry as they are. Then again, maybe not. The Tea Party got hijacked and compromised, lost its backbone, and caved. Time will tell I suppose.

Thoughts?

Um...What?

Can someone please explain to me why England is begging to hang on to Scotland?  Isn't Scotland the Detroit of the British Empire? Any illumination you all can give me would be greatly appreciated. I'm lost.

Pineapple For Everyone!

I read an interesting, though shallow, article this morning, and I remembered that our lewy had touched upon the "not enough jobs" thing a while back. Is a universal basic income the answer? Has the author of the article seen the movie Wall-E? Anyhoo, here's a taste:

The reality of this situation is chewing at the roots of American politics. The fundamental bargain of American society is that for anyone willing to hustle, there is a decent job to be found, or one that will at least prevent abject destitution. It underpins our national mythos as the land of opportunity and self-reliance. It has always been less true than anyone wanted to admit, but for an increasingly large fraction of the population — start with the 16 percent of Americans who regularly don't have enough to eat— it's a sick joke.
So, according to this premise, EVERYONE would get a check, every month. How much would it be? 2 grand? 3? 4? Whatever it would take to be comfortably above the poverty level?  So if we did that, we could lay off all welfare, food stamp, WIC, and other public workers that manage the business of gov't largesse. Sweet! They wouldn't need to work anyway. Sam will provide!

Also, if we did that, we would no longer need Medicaid (because everyone could afford "insurance"), we would no longer need Earned Income Credit and the plethora of other tax-time wealth transfers, we would no longer need social security for our oldsters, and we would no longer need to fund food pantry or soup kitchens. All of this should generate more than enough moola to fund giving the working 50% a big slice of the pie too (the non-working 50% already get theirs, just not in the form of one monthly check). What's not to love? Mmmm...pineapple!

Sunday Silliness...

...because we need a break from more serious matters. For your listening pleasure, I have searched the internetz far and wide, unearthing two lost and hitherto mostly unknown musical gems. These videos must be seen-and-heard to fully appreciate the genius of musical composition, the fine timbre of voice, and the incredibly profound lyrics.

Here we go!

I can hear you Trekkies screaming for more! I aim to please...

Dirty Jobs

I was going to gather the family and neighbors together to watch the State of the Union address tonight, but my friend Mike needs my help with a few projects, and it sounds like more fun than cramming my fingers in my ears as The One flaps his lips.

Here's our first project: we'll be raking something gooey and tarry looking, while POTUS reads from the TOTUS.

Then we're planning on rolling around in coal dust or something equally icky, while Obama-Jama whines about George Bush.

And while the Chicago Jesus throws spit wads at the Repubs and the bitter clingers (in his typical dignified fashion), Mike and I will be doing something with a toilet seat. I'm not sure what, but I'm quite certain it's not as germ-infested as sitting through the SOTU.

Afterwards, while the breathless media exults the wisdom and beneficence of The One, weeping and rending their clothing in shrieking ecstasy, Mike and I will each take a big slug of whateverthehell is in this glass-looking thingie. No matter what it is, it will be more palatable than whatever NBC is serving.

Hmm...it looks like Mike has shoveled most of Obama's speech right out the barn door with the rest of the stinky stuff!

A true American hero!

Hocus Pocus

I've always wondered why black Americans descended from slaves support Obama; they have absolutely NOTHING in common with him. With a tight election right around the corner, a few intrepid genealogists have combed through musty courthouses to plug this gaping hole in the only way they COULD plug it...they tied his mother to slaves.  And not just any ol' slave either. No way. Not for The One.

Wave a magic wand, make a wild  guess here and there, close your eyes, mumble the letters "DNA", and presto! Obama is the grandson of John Punch! Cool, huh?

Here are the supporting documents at Ancestry.com.

Bitch Slaps And Cowbells

Kentucky and Arkansas voters sent a clear message to the Obama camp yesterday, where the Jug-Eared Messiah, fondly known as "JEM" around the Table, lost 40% of the vote.  My in-depth analysis can be summed up this way:

Of course, the clown show at the Washington Post has their own analysis, namely that:

Democrats pointed out that no one expected either Kentucky or Arkansas to be competitive states in the fall and, therefore, what happened in the two states is entirely meaningless.

Really? As an Arkie, my response to the fine hacks at WaPo is simply this:

More cowbell!

I also read yesterday that the establishment Repubs may choose an illustrious, dignified, well-coiffed businessman to be a speaker at their convention:

Yes, definitely more cowbell.
