Friday Night Exorcism
For the last six weeks I've had a severe earworm. Every morning when I awaken, ground control to Major Tom is on a loop in my head. Even after I take my protein pills and put my helmet on it doesn't cease.
So I decided to go full blast and let you share in the joy of David Bowie's Space Oddity.
May all your earworms include Major Tom.
You're welcome.
Exorcism complete! I hope...

Friday Night ~ Music Riot
A few quiet tunes to accompany the riot/revolution. Hands up, don't shoot me, it's only music...
First up there's your White Riot ~ The Clash (this one's for lewy)
Next a bit of a riot from Down Under, Beds Are Burning ~ Midnight Oil
Nothing says "RIOT" like a heavy metal hair band. We're Not Gonna Take It ~ Twisted Sister
Finally, the French had a riot once and this song was the best thing to come out of it. La Marseillaise ~ Roberto Alagna

Friday Music: Happy Happy Election Results Music
Here Comes The Sun...
I Can See Clearly Now...
Dancing In The Street...okay it isn't summer but it is a reason to dance. In the street...
And, no matter how things rolled, the consistent message from this man urged us keep faith. His message? Never give up. And we never did.

Friday Night Blues
Kicking back with a large scotch after an awful week of travelling to the end of the word and back...I am so sick of being on a plane. Home now (as far as I know) until mid August. Love this music. Enjoy!

Friday Night Bread and Music
The last three weeks have spurred two new passions for me. The first is home made bread. Artisan, 7 Grain whole wheat and Sourdough sandwich loaves so far! The Artisan was great, crunchy and chewy, the 7 grain were a little less successful(didn't rise as much as I hoped) The Sourdough (home made starter) were a great success also, dense, sour and crusty! Herewith, the Artisan.
The second passion is Paolo Nutini. Can't believe I never knew about this guy before. It took me a while to figure out why he sounds so different and unique. Then I realised he sings with a Scottish accent! Yes, Paolo Nutini is Scottish. Strange and wonderful. And oh so easy on the eyes ladies :)

Friday Night (Country) Music
I've been on a country music kick for the past few months. I blame Nashville.
Here are some selections I've been listening to lately:
The Highwaymen
Johnny Cash and Kris K (Be still my heart!)
Sunday Morning Coming Down
Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard
Pancho and Lefty
Patsy (oh how I love you) Cline
Your Cheatin' Heart
Enjoy!
Or not.
