Can you believe she's only 27? Yet her voice imparts decades of love, loss, experience, technique, that's not putting it well but you know what I mean. Perfect selection for Friday Night on TCKT, Fay...
I just love her florrie. Not just her voice and her songwriting chops but also the fact that she shunned any and all attention after her baby was born. She chose to remain out of the spotlight and avoided the tabloids and the publicity so that she could spend the first couple of years with her baby. She is a beautiful confident young woman whose only claim to fame is the fabulous music she makes. She needs no fawning tabloid paparazzi to validate her.
I saw parts of this earlier, it's wonderful!

DeleteI didn't know any of that, I admire her even more. Wondered where she had been...
DeleteI love her voice. You would never believe she's only 27! Her confidence is inspiring and like a breath of fresh air.
DeleteThey have the same old-fashioned flip-top phones as I do. img:"http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y117/floranista/emoticons/dancingpurplebanana.gif"

ReplyDeleteI had to see what it was!
LMAO!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is EXACTLY what Tom's first cell phone looked like. He had it for work shortly after we got married so it must have been '95 or '96.
Thanks for fixing my script! lol
DeleteI had one like that in the late 90s too. I thought it was the neatest thing since sliced bread...now I find them hilarious! They were ginormous! :))
Can you imagine Adele's video made with that phone??? LMAO!!!
DeleteI really like this - a little darker, and very modern.
