The True Face Of The Far-Left

When is it acceptable to call a man a "chink"? When he's a devout Christian, and you're a far-left news organization, that's when.

"Broadcast giant ESPN has apologised after an offensive and potentially racist headline appeared on one of its websites attached to an article about basketball star Jeremy Lin.

An article about the New York Knicks' Mr Lin was given the headline 'Chink in the Armor' on ESPN's mobile website, but the offensive line was removed within an hour."

Hmm, I'll bet they wouldn't have called Mr. Lin a "chink" if he were a Muslim. Or better yet, an athiest. ESPN is to sports news what MSNBC is to political news; a running sewer.

I hope Mr. Lin shrugs off the insult, as we all should when faced with such ignorance, intolerance, and bigotry.  Keep talking, progressives and Marxist fools. The mask is slipping a bit more each day.

A Three-Way Split

This story from Rasmussen is very telling:

During December, 35.4% of Americans considered themselves Republicans. That’s up from 34.3% in November and just below the high for the year of 35.6% reached in May.

At the same time, just 32.7% of adults said they were Democrats, down from 34.9% in November. The previous low for Democrats was 33.0% in August of this year. .

The number of voters not affiliated with either of the major political parties rose to 32.0% in December from 30.8% the month before.

In summary:

REPUBS: 35% (up)
DEMS: 33% (down)
INDIES/OTHER: 32% (up)

The Chickens Have Come Home To Rooooost....

Jane Fonda is wringing her hands and whining about being unceremoniously dumped by QVC:

Fonda, 73, was supposed to appear on the home shopping network today to promote her upcoming book Prime Time: Love, Health, Sex, Fitness, Friendship, Spirit - Making the most of all of your life.

But she claims angry viewers forced the cable channel to slam the door on her highly promoted appearance.

Awww. What kind of people would do such a mean-spirited thing? Says she:

I am, to say the least, deeply disappointed that QVC caved to this kind of insane pressure by some well funded and organized political extremist groups.

"Political extremist groups" like millions of American vets and their families? Scary bunch.

Head Case of the Week

Bill Maher is a man so bitter and repulsive that I usually ignore his hateful rants. I shove him in the same dusty mental file as David Duke, Louis Farrakhan, Ward Churchill, and other assorted nasty rodents.

But I can't help but wonder...where is the liberal outrage at Maher's latest tirade? Labeling the two top women of the Republican party as "MILF's" may not be a new low for sleazy, unimportant Maher, but it sure ranks up there in the "psychiatric disorder" category. The amused tittering from Piers was very impressive too, don't you think?
