DEAD

Newspapers react to the top story of the day.

  1. The similar story I posted earlier today had more newspapers, but for some reason stopped working after about the third front page was shown - perhaps it was overloaded.

If anyone wants to see it, look for the National Journal online.

  2. I'm a couch potato today, home after getting a molar pulled and feeling sorry for myself.

So the Glen Beck program came on and he was talking about the people celebrating at Times Square & in DC and was asking "aren't we better than that?" and comparing it to the Palis celebrating after 9/11. I was just starting to get pretty damn peeved when he asked again" aren't we better than that, America?", and then said "No!" and brought out a marching band.

    LMFAO!!!!!

  3. Thanks, Dances, nice slideshow!

The NY Daily News (#15) was my favorite.

  6. The slideshow was neat. I'm glad we blew his head off before he had a chance to croak of natural causes.

  7. Obama is a man for whom every single thought is political calculation, as to what will benefit him. In this instance, the taking out of Osama, his decision was based on what will best advance his election to a second term as President of these United States. IOW's the United States of America a much lesser interest than Obama's personal goals.

Place me in whatever box you like (I don't mean you folks here) but I don't for a moment believe that Obama made the decision to kill Osama based on the best interests of America. He made that decision based on what was best for him, personally and politically, witness that damn speech.

He's a wimp ass motherfucker, who'd throw that first right cross expecting you to fold up, but when you feint and come back with the uppercut, he'd melt quicker than a Crayon on a steam heated radiator. I know the type.

  8. I liked #15 as well.

BTW, was it weird to see the WSj with a color photo on the front page instead of a line-cut picture, or has it been too long since I have seen a WSJ?
