Hundreds of 'protestors' stormed the Israeli borders from both Syria and Lebanon, tore down the fence, and began throwing rocks at the Israeli guards.
Israeli soldiers returned the attack, and a total of eight were killed.
The IDF has said that the assaults seem to bear the fingerprints of Iran, acting through their proxies in both countries, and quite probably trying to take pressure of their creature Assad.
After all, he may have killed or disappeared hundreds of his own people, but look!! Those evil Jews killed eight! Which of course, in the populations of the middle east, and among the more stupid of those in the west, will be seen, and trumpeted as the far greater crime.

I'm so worried about what's happening there. annie, you're encircled by these insane haters, I know it's been that way all along but since this (ridiculously dubbed, IMO) "Arab Spring" the ugly rhetoric and border clashes have intensified to a really frightening point. You are in my thoughts and prayer, friend.

ReplyDeleteThe "action" yesterday was all on the borders, mainly on the northern border. The Palis made a big show of demonstrating near the Gaza (southern) border but interestingly enough they didn't let it get out of control, and although there were several Palis injured by the IDF, the demos never turned into full scale riots and they didn't breach the borders. They obviously know what would happen if they tried.
It is obvious that Assad was provoking matters in the north, to distract domestic and international attention away from his own murderous actions against his own citizens. After all something like 1,000 (one thousand!) buses were loaded up with "protestors" and shipped to the border. The whole area is a closed military zone on the Syrian side. No one is allowed in or out without specific permission of Assad or his army. It doesn't take a genius to figure it all out.
As for the Lebanese border, the Lebanese army fired on their own protestors to keep them from breaching the border with Israel. The last thing they need is a war with Israel. No matter what the propagandists say, they know who won the last round. No one is sure who actually shot the casualties - the IDF or the Lebanese army. Again, no one gets into that area without Hizbollah's permission, so it was an Iranian-backed provocation.
And where were the UN "peacekeepers"?
The whole Arab "spring" is a total misnomer. Arab winter is nearer the mark.
