IT IS Election Night, 2012. The polls have closed. State by state, the votes are being counted, and gradually it becomes clear, to the bottomless horror of some voters and the unbridled delight of others, that Sarah Palin, the Republican presidential nominee, has bested President Barack Obama in the popular vote nationwide.
Jeff Jacoby pens a great piece for the Boston Globe. Read the rest here.
I saw this at HotAir. They find interesting tidbits from all over, even Boston. ;)
ReplyDeleteEphrata you say, pray, where might that be?
ReplyDeleteThe other side of hell...bwa ha ha...
But, we collected all the personal stuff from the family home, that had been residing in a storeage locker for the last year, in the town his brother lives in.
ReplyDeleteSome of the beautiful china and christal that had been a part of Matt's home as he grew up. I am so excited to now be able to prepare Thanksgiving and Christmas meals and serve them on the dishes and plates he grew up with.
Fay, how fun! :)
ReplyDeleteIf by some freak of nature and LSD contamination of the national water supply, Palin should win the Presidential election in 2012, I will fookin' begin emigration to Canada.
ReplyDeleteGoing from arrogant empty headed bad to smarmy ignorant stupid worse is not the answer.
It takes a bit of time to emigrate (legally, as opposed to just bopping across the river here), so I'd have time to know if she quit the office at the 2+ year mark.
Somewhere near Banff or Lake Louise would be nice if I could afford it...and I'd still be close to Montana for visits.
