This is a warning: run for the hills! I'm attempting to add emoticons to the comment box. This involves me rummaging around in places I shouldn't be, so put on your hard hats and prepare for flying parts and crumbling walls.
If I'm not back by nightfall, send in the 82nd Airborne!
Testing... ;;)

Okay, one more time, with feeling...
ReplyDelete:))
Well, crapola.
ReplyDeleteLet me go over my code once again. I'll also double-check my data nest link.
Again
ReplyDelete:))
Okay, I tweaked my data nest with a big orange hammer. Let's see what that does...
ReplyDelete:)
One more time

I'm a very patient woman.

I wonder if my java is acting up? Are these smilies working for anyone else?
Heh. Well, I can see the smilies, they're all moving, but I can't do anything with them.
ReplyDeleteOkay guys and gals, I found a crowbar and a pair of vise grips. Come to Mama..
ReplyDelete:)
I think it's not working because of other custom code we have. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :)
ReplyDeleteI'll do more research, and try again some other time.
Okay, TCKT is back to normal. Thanks for your patience!
ReplyDeleteThanks for trying lady red!
ReplyDeleteYou almost had it. I just had to jiggle it a bit...
ReplyDelete;)
;)
ReplyDeleteYay! Lewy did it!!! :D
ReplyDeleteThank you darling!
Ummmm... from a Vista and IE8 perspective something is very broken this morning.
ReplyDeleteWell... in the short time it took me to write that last comment everything fixed itself! Except for the emoticon menu not working for me.
ReplyDeleteSorry, everything is broken for a bit because I was still in my sandbox. Recent comments are fixed. Emoticons still work - I think :))
ReplyDeleteThe button called "Display Emoticon Menu" is supposed to smoothly fade in the menu of smileys.
ReplyDeleteStill hacking on that. Could be a bit...
OK, closer, but needs some work.:-t
ReplyDeleteLewy... you've created a Blogger screen dimmer! When I press the emoticon menu the page darkens, when I press it again it comes back to normal brightness. Very cool actually, though not your intent I'm guessing. :)
ReplyDeleteI've done a bit of decorating and rearranging. I love the US/Canadian guitar!
ReplyDeleteI noticed, and me too, Lady Red, I like that guitar.
ReplyDelete"Ummmm... from a Vista and IE8 perspective something is very broken this morning."
ReplyDeleteYes, it's called Vista and IE8.
Looks great, lady red and lewy, thank you so much!!!
ReplyDeleteGrrrr... they normally work great for me. :)
