I loved this movie, I had no idea that the remains of miltary members were treated with such honour, dignity, and respect at every step of the process (as they should be of course).
There is no political message or sub-text in this movie, just a very moving and true story.
I have not seen this, and probably won't for a long time (I did read the book).
That said - everyone I've talked to was incredibly moved by it. It was absolutely welcomed by the military community, much more so than The Hurt Locker.
Fay, I got teary just watching the trailer. Thank you for the recommendation.
ReplyDelete*sniff*

It makes me cry just writing about it.

Jeebus, it's the giant box of Kleenex that ate Cleveland..run!
ReplyDeleteI think I have heard the story before. But if the movie is anywhere near as good as the trailer, then is is one damn good film.
ReplyDeleteAnd why is it called a "trailer" when it comes out before the film does?
I just finished watching the film. We are honored to be blessed by such people.
ReplyDeleteG*d speed. What else can I say?
