All The News Is Horrifying

Just because I don't want to talk about the massacre in Roseburg, or the destruction of cultural antiquities by the maniacs of ISIS, or Jews being murdered in front of their children, or Putin pwning the POTUS, or just about anything that's in the news, here's....

    And now, I am drinking a beer. I've been painting and fixing and winterizing all day, and had hoped to get a little farther down my list, BUT...the plumbing under my kitchen sink went ker-blooey. As in wet toes. I'm not a bad plumber when it comes to simple projects, but whoever built my home must have been smoking crack as well as showing crack. So I toodled to the hardware store (with barn paint splattered in my hair and on my arms and shirt) and tried to mix and match parts and connectors. I came home with a big bag of plumbing goodness but noooooo.

    It. Just. Won't. Fit. Together.

    So, I'm having a beer.

    Tomorrow I'll either go to Lowe's in the Big City or I'll grab my big orange hammer and smash the twat. It depends on what kind of mood I'm in.

    Good for you, lady red! Around here, a service call is ~ $110 - and that's before any work is done.

    Speaking of the end of the world, anybody looking at the maps and noticing how the deployment of forces in Syria is lining up with the Book of Revelations?

    Did we pick the wrong Millennium?

    Kinda glad I'm not a believer. I'd be worried.

      Gosh, I hate to think how long ago it was that I originally saw that! I have a very dim memory of it, though. All those clever cameos were just wonderful. thanks for the trip down memory lane, Matt.
