Just because I don't want to talk about the massacre in Roseburg, or the destruction of cultural antiquities by the maniacs of ISIS, or Jews being murdered in front of their children, or Putin pwning the POTUS, or just about anything that's in the news, here's....
MORE BRUNO!!!
I'll rejoin the real world...tomorrow. Maybe.
This video is silly but it's so well done that I don't mind. It makes me happy. :D
ReplyDeleteAnd now, I am drinking a beer. I've been painting and fixing and winterizing all day, and had hoped to get a little farther down my list, BUT...the plumbing under my kitchen sink went ker-blooey. As in wet toes. I'm not a bad plumber when it comes to simple projects, but whoever built my home must have been smoking crack as well as showing crack. So I toodled to the hardware store (with barn paint splattered in my hair and on my arms and shirt) and tried to mix and match parts and connectors. I came home with a big bag of plumbing goodness but noooooo.
ReplyDeleteIt. Just. Won't. Fit. Together.
So, I'm having a beer.
Tomorrow I'll either go to Lowe's in the Big City or I'll grab my big orange hammer and smash the twat. It depends on what kind of mood I'm in.
Hah! :)
A little something to cheer you up, lady red...
ReplyDeleteLove those old SNL skits! Thanks florrie!
DeleteShopping done, plumbing fixed. Who da woman? Me! I'm da woman! :)
ReplyDeleteGood for you, lady red! Around here, a service call is ~ $110 - and that's before any work is done.
ReplyDeleteIt's pricey here too. I spent about 30 bucks and a few hours. Pfft. Gurl powah.
DeleteSpeaking of the end of the world, anybody looking at the maps and noticing how the deployment of forces in Syria is lining up with the Book of Revelations?
ReplyDeleteDid we pick the wrong Millennium?
Kinda glad I'm not a believer. I'd be worried.
Since Lady Red posted such a serious video, I thought I would follow up -- by way of honoring a request from a previous thread. No it isn't me but it gives you an idea.
ReplyDeletelink textThis is kinda like my happy dance, especially starting at the 30 second mark (but I don't dance on my ears).
And if you are in the mood for some great bugs bunny, hare, er, here is the whole thing.
That really is the Brazilian Bombshell singing but the guy is an impersonator.
Gosh, I hate to think how long ago it was that I originally saw that! I have a very dim memory of it, though. All those clever cameos were just wonderful. thanks for the trip down memory lane, Matt.
DeleteI think that's the Ricky Ricardo dance ;-)
The orchestration of Carl W. Stalling at it's best. "Gal in Calico" and "Quarter to Nine" two of the featured tunes in this one.
DeleteDoes it take everybody two and a half weeks to post comments with links, just to find out that you still screwed it up?": I give up. I have to go to work tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteBoth links worked fine for me...
DeleteOh, I know they work, but "link textThis is kinda" was frustrating.
