You know there's something wrong with the world when...

...you have to take private lessons to learn how to sit on your ass.

[Actually, it's a serious topic, my reflexive snark notwithstanding.]

  1. Uh oh, I am totally the slumped, "C" shape, back. I guess I need someone to teach me how to "sit on my ass."

  2. I fluctuate between a "C" and an "S".

This sounds good to me (not to mention, I love Drudge ;-). Thanks for the interesting article, lewy.

  3. Well folks I hope to get some more input on this article from some Physical Therapy friends.

I really liked Matt Drudge's comments at the end of the article - correcting posture is a life-long process.

Walking is the thing that messed me up and created some chronic foot pain; I've had to restructure my gait completely.

The hard part is that I had to accept that this was necessary - Really - really?! Yes, really, I must be mindful of every step I take from now until I learn to walk again, and a good bit after.

Once I did accept this, things became easier.

  4. Interesting article. Who knew we'd need a coach for ass sitting? I plop down and prop my feet up when I'm home. I don't intend to change that habit any time soon. :)
