The Chicks Fight Back

Facebook has struck again, censuring a fairly tame post made by a conservative. Instead of caving, these two bloggers did something about it; they've started a conservative social network. This is exactly the in-your-face tactics the right needs to employ on a regular basis. If thousands of people abandon FB and join this network, it's a win. If millions do, it's a revolution.

A frosty glass of Sam Adams Boston Lager goes to Mockarena and Daisy. Well done ladies.

  1. I just created an account there. Hell yes I'll support them! We have to organize, and this is a good start. If we're aggressive, cohesive, and indefatigable we'll be in a better position to defenestrate the bastards.

  2. Hmmm...they already have 35,000 members. Nice. Very nice.

  3. OK, I am on, under my (GASP!) real name.

Did you add TCKT to their blog list, Lady R?

    1. Excellent DWT! I just sent you a friend request.

I haven't added TCKT yet. I wanted everyone to get a good look at the place first. I'm still exploring the site, and all the nooks and crannies. :)

  4. I think I'm going to pass, myself.

Here's some other conservative sites which might be worth a visit: link.

    1. LOL! I figured you would pass lewy; you like to fly under the radar. :)

They're up to 42,000 members, and what a mixed bag of people! The best part is they BAN liberals who try to post there. I love it! It's the smash-mouth stance we need to take if we're going to have any influence in the next election.

Thanks for the link; I'll check it out!

  5. This was posted last night from the admin of TPC:

DDoS attacks are taking us down right now. Someone is sending hundreds of thousands of requests to our server right and consuming 100% of our entire resources. We've been feverishly working for the past 5 hours straight combating those who wish to see TPC down and for the count.

  6. Actually, it would be nice to have a place like that, and I will probably go back and check whether thet get the problems fixed.

But as it is, there are too many glitches that are driving me too crazy.

    1. I think they need a bigger ban stick too. I couldn't take all the hatefulness.

  7. Well, that was a disappointing experience. I deleted my account today. I've never seen such a collection of Jew-hatin', gay-despisin', wacky conspiracy-embracin' nuts!

There are lots of nice normal folks there too, but they don't frantically post the same crazy crapola over and over and over. It's dizzying (and in too many cases disgusting). The self-professed Christian lady who insisted on using the words "faggot" and "fuck" repeatedly was quite charming, as was the guy who posted the graphic of a bloody apron with the Star of David, looming over a map of Gaza.

    Nasty stuff indeed.

    1. Well, you must have seen worse than I did, but what I saw was bad enough.

Not going to delete yet. I will check a couple more times before February 2nd.

If it has not getten better, I will delete before they do the big announcement.

I wonder about that, also. They are speaking of some sort of breadcast. I begin to wonder if it will be someplace like Mahers show, so they can choose the very worst postings, and thereby illustrate the depths of depravity of the right.

Although I think many more on the left would be just fine with the anti-Israel stuff, or with the pro-Iran geef I was arguing with this morning.

The saddest part about the pro-Iran guy, was that he lists himself as a Tea Party board member in a medium-size PA city.

    2. Oh lord. If this whole site is a left-wing setup, it will be devastating, and the death knell of the TP. I sincerely hope that's not the case, and that the two Tims can clean things up.

Even if they are a legit "Tea Party" site, there's no doubt in my mind that the lefties are there trolling, and harvesting the most idiotic, ignorant, and hateful posts to use against conservatives when it suits them. Or using sock puppets to post the hateful stuff themselves.

    3. Umm, broadcast, that is.

I can tell I was there too much given my paranoid read of the possibility of it being a set-up.

I'm already whacko enough without any outside help.

  8. Whew, I'm glad I didn't go there. Sounds really creepy.

I can understand why you thought it would be a good alternative to FB, lady red. Media Matters pays their loony libs to post outrageous stuff on conservative sites, I'm sure many where on this place as well.

  9. Too bad it turned out to be a bad experience.

  10. Another thing that bothered me: when I deleted my account, there were over 46,000 members. However, only a few hundred contributed any money. If these folks each donated a ten spot, that would be almost half a mil in the war chest.

It crossed my mind that this group of people is more interested in beating their chests and hollering than actually DOING something concrete and meaningful. Are they representative of conservatives in general? I hope not.

  11. I can't figure out how to close my account there. Nothing I see goes that way, and when I search delete aacount, it just comes up with a lot of other things.

    1. I took me awhile to find it too! Go to your account page, and scroll all the way down. It's at the bottom in small print. ;)

  13. Consider for a moment that even a publication such as the Atlantic is getting overrun with the jew-haters - e.g. here.

    No surprise, really.

It's more common than we think, on the left and on the right.
