A humorous and well-presented explanation of the current fiscal crisis from David Harvey, a Marxist Socialist. I ran across in a post by The Anchoress, at First Things Blog, but the video was not good from there, so I tracked it down on YouTube.
While at YouTube, I also noted a rebuttal, by a video-blogger called "HowTheWorldWorks". He did, I think, do a very good job of detailing exactly where Harvey went wrong.
The first video is a bit over 11 minutes, and the second about 13 & 1/2, so it may be too much to ask to watch them now, on the eve of our nations day of birth, but I thought it was well worth my time, at least.
Oh, back to The Anchoress. Her own comments, and those of her readers are most interesting.

Who makes up this crap? History has shown that Marxism fails wherever it has been tried, but jerks like this are still treated as royalty?
