American Innovation

While we celebrate birth, and all that hunky stuff below. Let's not forget the other milestones of our life. The man who put the 'heads' on Pez.

Curtis Allina has died at the grand old age of 87.

A perfect example of all the small and unique things that make us who we are. And the center of battle that we are involved in, freedom or subjugation.

  1. I think Luther forgot to put a title on his post so the post above looks to run on into his.

So I am going to put a temporary title on it and Luther can come and change it when he wants to.

  2. What an interesting story. He was my neighbor! I still love Pez. The last ones I bought were probably for stocking stuffers :-)

  4. Oops, my comment was a bit misleading. I didn't know him, Luther, but the article you linked said he was from Olympia, Wa :-)

  5. Sorry, Flo. I took your comment out of context. My fault. By the way, did you know a 'Crouch' family in Olympia back in the day?

  6. Hmm, don't know them. We've only been here a little over 2 years though, Luther. We spent most of our time in Sequim (35 yrs for me!).

  9. There's a teenager in Sterling, VA who would probably pronounce it "kweh".
