And so it begins...

Friday night Christmas music.  Nat King Cole.  Excellent.

  1. I think that there should be a law that no one else can sing that song except for the great Mr. Cole.

That song was written by Mel Torme.

  2. You know what's not working here? The computer sound system.

I listened to this as a kid; my parents loved Nat King Cole.

But - there is something incredibly hollow in the modern sound systems... I think this needs an actual TV, preferably B&W, from the 60's, with tubes. Then it would sound "right".

An old restored TV hooked up to YouTube - now that would be cool.

Meanwhile this is the Christmas spirit in this age

  3. I love this song, Fay. When I think of it, it is this version sung by Nat King Cole. I so enjoy all the Christmas songs and hymns, thanks for posting it.

lewy, OTOH, I think if I lived next door to those people I would consider suing. Seriously. It was kind of neat when someone decorated in time to music with Trans Siberian Orchestra, but even that would drive me nuts after a listen or two!!!

Funny how all that is ok but God Forbid we have school children singing Away in a Manger...
