What an amazing, accomplished, and inspirational man he is! We need many more men and women with Dr. Carson's education and insight.
I can't believe the Obamabots let him in the door, let alone gave him a podium and a microphone. I thought POTUS was going to nod off; he looked zombied. Too much choom the night before I guess.
Hmm, apparently we are not the only ones who would like to see him run for the highest office. Others include Kevin Sorbo (yeah, an actor) and The Wall Street Journal
Given that he is currently head of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins, (certainly far more stringent a field of endeavor than community organizing) I will even offer an initial campaign slogan - "I can do government, after all, it's not brain surgery."
I swear I did not know this before commenting that he shuold run, but apparently a LOT of people feel the same way.
He was on Hannity last night, and when Sean asked if he might run, he answered, that it's not his intention, but “If the Lord grabbed me by the collar and made me do it, I would.” He went on to say if he got a nickel from everyone who sent him an email asking him to run, he would be able to finance his campaign!
He's the darling of the conservative side of the Twitterverse, today, I think for good reason.
And yes, I did sign up, initially back in December to offer condolences to a cartoonist whose wife had just passed away.
But I've been tweetinf quite a bit in the last couple of weeks, mostly about the gun control push going on.
I've thought about joining Twitter. For a minute or two. I'm afraid that if I have that easy forum to spout off, my mouth will overload my good sense. Bwahaha.
A wonderful speech, especially when given in the face of supposed national 'leaders' who feel exactly the opposite.
ReplyDeleteWhen he came to the 'tithe' taxation and Health Savings Accounts portion, I am amazed that there were not some heads exploding to his left & right.
If his current career was not so important, I would want him to run for the office of the man two seats to his right.
Excellent, well worth the 27 minutes to watch. I agree with you Dances he wouls make a great POTUS.
ReplyDeleteI think Obama was squirmimg all the way through.
Go watch people if you haven't already.
This is a MUST see.

I am @D Dunlap, and I have a whole 3 followers.
Actually, I am @DonaldD52, sheesh.
DeleteLet us all send Dr. Carson a nickel, with a note telling him it is out of upmost respect that we do it. We need voices such as his.
ReplyDeleteDances, I have no idea how Twitter even works!
Well, now have seven followers - my audience is growing by steps & stumbles.
ReplyDeleteMatt, Twitter is easy. Just sign up and start talking. The major difficulty, especially for me, is keeping the comments to 140 characters.
You all know how long-winded I am.

ReplyDeleteI'm up to 9, now. Guess they like my pithiness (and no, I do not lithp!)
