Not His Demographic

Make no mistake, the giant "redistribution of wealth" train doesn't stop at a Connecticut station.   Individuals affected by the devastating storms won't be receiving a personally engraved bucket of  free Obama-money.  Damn, what's up with that?

(Personally, I don't think the feds have any business giving our money to individuals OR the towns and municipalities, but that's another post for another day.)

The blatant snub, obviously based on color and income, may leave a bad taste in the mouths of some honest liberals.  Coupled with racist rhetoric like this,  the "post-racial" WTF-meter is going bananas.

Exit question:  will the people who voted for Obama solely because he's black, or because they thought it was a black man's "turn",  heed Obama's call and support white Dems in November?

  1. My "post-racial WTF Meter" has been spinning out of control for two years now.

You can't be post-racial if you're waxing poetic about someone's race.

  2. AFW, exactly. I'm so freakin' sick of every argument and problem having racist poo slung at it, hoping something stick will stick. To what end?

  4. SRSLY, lady red. The incident with the N word supposedly being shouted at the DC Tea Party continues to blow my gaskets.

I was watching the Megyn Kelly yesterday and saw Mark Levine arguing with someone on the right who called the N word incident into question and Levine's response was, "ARE YOU CALLING A CIVIL RIGHTS HERO A LIAR?"

Which is lesson #1 from interrogation 101: instead of lying, turn the question around on the accuser.

For instance, if you ask someone if they murdered their wife and they say, "Are you asking me if I murdered my wife?" alarm bells should go off. Someone who is not guilty will be more likely to immediately and vehemently deny it.

However, someone who is guilty will need to formulate a plan of action.

And that makes me tremendously sad, because I don't like my idols to have clay feet and they all do.

  5. I'd like to believe that no tea party person used the N word. I'd like to believe that a man who was brave enough to march with Dr. King wouldn't lie about being called the N word. We'll never know what actually happened.

Everyone needs to stop being so sensitive. If someone calls you a nigger, rise above it! If some idiot paints a swastika with refried beans on your statehouse window, rise above it. If a news anchor calls you a racist piece of white trash, rise above it. If your boss calls you "honey" and pays you 20% less than a man doing the same job, rise above it. If you exhibit dignity and class, you will be treated with dignity and class by all good people.

Also, I think that when we encounter true displays of racism and bigotry, it's up to us to make a stand. By our actions, we can brand the conduct socially unacceptable. We should all loudly support legislation that insures equality of opportunity, the freedom to pursue that opportunity, and the protection to be safe in the pursuit of that opportunity.

All this fake shrieking and yelling is becoming ridiculous. Toughen up, America! Stop whining! Live your life in an honorable fashion, vote your conscience on issues, not race, and take the fucking hyphen out of your nationality. We are all Americans. Period.

Can you tell all this "race" crap gets under my skin? :)

Ma'am, would it be harsh tp point out that, in todays climate, this is wishful thinking.

    True, but wishful thinking nonetheless.

  7. Wishful thinking is all I have left some days. I'll share my blackberry cobbler ice cream if you humor me for an evening. :D

  8. AFW, ohmagolly. Totally with you on that. I just can't listen to thise nonsense anymore about "who is a racist?"
I am getting to the point where I don't even care about claims of "who is a racist" because it is all a bunch of made up lies. It is all fabricated propaganda. You notice that the media is SO QUICK to stir up strife between cultures and races and yet they turn around and boo hoo how awful racism is?
If the Obama regime says something stupid (and 100% inaccurate 100% of the time) accusing someone of racism, the media is all over it - pointing fingers at all the "racists".
Since anyone who didn't vote for Obama is now defined by the media as a racist, and since anyone who disapproves of Obama's record in office, and since anyone attending a tea party is a racist, I can conclude that by media definition of the word, 95% of this country consists of racists.
The media is a bunch of liars and crooks taking money to tell lies. No wonder they get along so well with political creatures.
