The Cowardly Cleric

Ali Khamenei takes the cake. He really does. Iranians must be embarrassed to death by his blithering and blathering. He's kind of like that creepy old uncle who dribbles urine in his pants whenever company visits. Stinky. Sticky. It's time to cram him in the figurative attic, and let him moulder without an audience.

Iran's Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Monday that Iran is set to deliver a "punch" that will stun world powers during this week's 31st anniversary of the Islamic revolution, AFP reported.
"The Iranian nation, with its unity and God's grace, will punch the arrogance (Western powers) on the 22nd of Bahman, February 11, in a way that will leave them stunned," Khamenei, who is also Iran's commander-in-chief, told a gathering of air force personnel according to AFP.

I have two words in response to this drooling old fool.  BITE ME.

  1. Supreme power and Alzheimer's is a frightening combination.

I wonder just what the senile old fool has in mind?

Given the way things are going, could it be a nuclear detonation?

Possibly a device bought from North Korea, but which will be claimed as the product of Iranian science and technology.

  2. He'll probably assume an old-guy stance, point his gnarly old finger in our general direction, and break wind.

That could qualify as a "stunner".

  3. Speaking as someone who's done technology demos, what you want to do us under-promise and over-deliver.

I'd say he's failing dramatically on the first part. A-bomb bought from the norks is more or less assumed.

He'll have to steal an H-bomb from the Israelis to impress at this point.

  4. Um, are they going to commit suicide and embark on the Gog/Magog war? That'd raise a few eyebrows, to be sure. Stun the world powers - check!

  5. Well it's our Wedding Anniversary on February 11th, I think that's pretty "stunning."
