Sell your cloak, buy a sword:
John C. WrightIt is not time to break the law, yet. But it is time to start marches, riots, and other forms of relentless civil disobedience to show the establishment our resolve. If we have the resolve. Do we?Do you?The lamps are going out all over the world. It is time to start a few fires.
Buying guns and ammo, stockpiling food and supplies, joining the NRA, wearing a MAGA hat and showing up to vote, boycotts; these are all good things, but they are no longer enough.
ReplyDeleteTime for: next. Because if there is no "next" we have lost the war to preserve what our ancestors built and entrusted to us. The left has taken a sledgehammer to everything that is good, and right, and beautiful, and civilized.
Fight back or shut up. It's Geller's family today. It will be YOUR family tomorrow. Or mine. They will root us out one by one, like filthy pigs rummaging for a morsel. They won't stop, they don't play by the rules, and they're vicious. Their only goal is destruction of all you hold dear.
Are you ready my friends?
Thoughts? Where the progs kick our ass is in networking. We need many small networks, so they waste copious amounts of time trying to find us and shut us down. We need to foresee and be prepared to react to a long list of possible events, just like they do. We have to build/support platforms to showcase crying moms and shrieking kids, have rallys and marches set up and ready to deploy at a moment's notice. We MUST participate in designing, instigating, attending. When they squeak we MUST punch them in the nose. Hard. When they deplatform us we MUST deplatform them, x2, x10. When they shut down one of our events, we must do the same, with lots more people. They wear black masks to conceal their identity? We'll wear masks too.
ReplyDeleteThere is a chance that blogger may shut us down, but I think lewy has that covered. Lewy?
ReplyDeleteAny thoughts on how we can beat fb and youtube at their own game? It will take a while to build and launch new platforms. So in the meantime, how can we give fb a black eye, or keep them busy chasing their tails? 4G war folks. Think 4G.
ReplyDeleteAND, we must do our best not to get fired from our jobs. But if we do, if I do, it's time to prepare for that happening.
ReplyDeleteWe can also donate, and encourage others to donate, to the people on the front lines, who are risking everything, including the lives of their children (!), to fight for western civilization vs. the savages on the left.

OT -- I don't know what has happened, but with every new OS update this computer gets to be more and more a pain in the rear. It used to be that I stayed logged in. I typed a comment here a few minutes ago. I just looked and found it was not here. Why? because I was not logged in. I clicked LOG IN and, lo and behold, I am logged in. I am running into the same thing with Discqus as well.
ReplyDeleteNow, ON-T -- What indication do you have that we will be dropped by Blogger? I am not close enough to it to know, but I would like to. Do we have an archive of everything? There has been some mighty fine writing here and I would hate to lose it.
A blog that I follow closely, and I think you do too, LR, is IOTWReport. He has really felt the pinch of the demoneterization (if that is the correct word. Big Fur Hat is really afraid he will have to close down if things don't improve. A number of readers, including Fay and me, have kicked in. If you can help, it would sure be appreciated. I have a subscription of $10.00 a month.
The reason I mention that is because it is a smaller blog. I also follow WeaselZippers, but that is getting to the point where if you don't see a post in the first ten minutes there are over 100 comments. IOTW is small enough where the regulars are somewhat familiar with each other -- which we here can appreciate.
As for our jobs, I tend to stay apolitical at work. My department manager is pretty conservative. He once told me, "I hate liberals," in reaction to something he heard. But I don't bring it up if he doesn't
The optimist in me tells me that what we are seeing now are the last rattles of a dying beast. But that does not mean we can be complacent. The more the elites push things, the more they distance themselves from the mainstream. IOTW had a link to a column by Kurt Schlichter which speaks to this in very strong terms.
I love this blog and the people here. I would love to do more, but my personal aim, for the most part, is to write personal commentary or things I think might be of interest. With a work schedule that has hours all over the place (although not as bad as LR's), I find it hard to write as much as I would like. I apologize for that. Perhaps if we had a meeting of the minds on where the blog is going we can be more active.
Hope my thoughts add to the conversation.
Should I start another blog for the political stuff? I think I might. I really love TCKT being about music photos and personal commentary. Hmm...
DeleteMatt, have you been reading about all the right wing people who have been kicked off of You Tube over the past week? And all the fb pages that have been deleted? It's crazy.
DeleteI have been reading about that for a while. I was just wondering if there was some solid evidence that you have seen outside the word "conservative" being in our name, although I understand that that is enough.
DeleteMy proposal to that's I have commented on several blogs but don't know how to do much more than that, is to have YouTube, FB, etc, be classified as common carriers. That would mean that, as long as it is legal, the carrier has no say as to whether they carry it or not. UPS is a common carrier. As long as an item can legally be shipped, UPS does not get to pick and choose whether they carry it or not. Those companies have built themselves into near monopolies and are considered vital to the exchange of information in today's society. With such a position they forfeit some of the control they might otherwise be entitled to.
I just read that Turn Revolt is closing shop as of today. The reason they give is so David Horowitz can concentrate on other things. TR was a secondary read for me, but it will be sad to see them go.
Delete"It is not time to break the law, yet. "
ReplyDeleteI just reread that. As I have pointed out a number of times, there is some law someplace that if someone wanted to put you in jail, they could. You don't need to do anything different than you have been doing.
This was always true to some extent.
DeleteAnd yeah, if you didn't run with the top dogs, or weren't rich, that was even truer than we'd like to acknowledge.
But it was a lot less true than in Old Europe, or the Asia of any age. That, and the "top dogs" were pretty chill about growing their pack. Again, compared to Old Europe or Asia.
But that's over, and we're descending to the same level of rot the rest of the world has always enjoyed.
Curse. Them. That. Caused. This.
For they knew exactly what they were up to.
The idea of a political blog as opposed to the political one may be a good one. I do already have my media blog, although I have not done anything with it in a long time.
ReplyDeleteYes, the lamps are going out.
ReplyDeleteLearn to see in the dark – our eyes will adapt.
It will be cold, and there will yet be need of cloaks.
Yet.
Come to think of it... empty your purses of gold and silver, and raise up herds of horses and cattle is what I'm hearing these days when I talk to God.
DeleteBastard never txts, and I refuse to set up voicemail, so getting synced up is sketchy tho.
