Epic

  1. Twitter is mostly a wasteland, but in the sense that one can speak directly to the otherwise unreachable, and share your response with others, it's fantastic.

That said, Senator Sanders is correct on point, as I can attest to as someone who lives overseas often: both our cell phone service and our internet service are second class and vastly over-priced compared to the rest of the world, including many developing countries.

  2. I bet those countries with bett,ER service don't a have long line of hoops to jump through and fees to pay to upgrade service

  3. The mask is being torn off quicker than I had thought possible. We are witnessing what history will see as the first disorders that presaged the Second U.S. Civil War.

And, yes, they are going to kill Trump.

They will kill him and celebrate and excuse his murderer just as they did with Fortuyn.

Except unlike in Europe, that won't make us cower.

    2. Jourdan, I do fear that they'll kill Trump. The mobs that rioted at his rally were headlined "restless voters" by Fox News. How effed up is that?

If a vet or a guy in a cowboy hat wearing a Trump t-shirt were to come anywhere near a Sanders event, he would be decried as right-wing terrorist. A racist. A Nazi. A white supremacist. A low-down, no-good, one-sock MFer. Then they'd probably beat him to a pulp like a pack of rabid hyenas.

It's okay that I have to listen to a socialist nincompoop who's never had a real job in his life, with a plan to destroy the country I love, but when it comes to Trump the left (and far too many on the right..did you read Quin Hillyer's latest column?) are clutching their pearls and swooning in abject horror. WTF?

    6. And despite all the evidence showing that those who caused the problems in Chicago, Sanders is calling Trump a liar for saying there is a connection between Sanders and those who caused the problems in Chicago. Funny how that if anyone who ever had a nice thing to say about Trump does anything wrong people demand that Trump condemns that person and diasavow him. Sanders supporters get violent and Trump is a liar.

I am afraid this is going to be a rough year.

  4. It's going to be more than rough, Matt. We're going to war. Case in point: the man who rushed Trump with a knife was released IMMEDIATELY on a joke $3,000 bail, is on all the news/talk shows today being treated as if he has something to say, and, yup, has many public statements (mostly via Twitter) saying things like this:

    MARLON BANDO
‏@Younglionking7 MARLON BANDO Retweeted Crying Patriot
Dear God, please bless Obama and his dream team task force in their noble and just quest to eliminate us whites.🙏🏼

This isnt just some "liberal outrage of the week" a la Rush Limbaugh. This is war.

And I have no doubt--none whatsoever--that my people will prevail. As I've been saying for years, the time to choose sides is coming and it won't care about nuances or qualifications.

    1. I'm just going to leave this here...

The way to prevail here is through the Treasury market.

If "domestic unrest" were to threaten the ability of the deep state to fund itself, then the deep state will seek to ameliorate the unrest.

And then it just needs to be made clear that the path of least resistance for the deep state leads through the camp of the bernie bros, and not our camp.

    2. And...the NRO doubles-down. Or triples-down? Kevin Williamson's latest contribution:

“It is immoral because it perpetuates a lie: that the white working class that finds itself attracted to Trump has been victimized by outside forces,” the NR roving correspondent writes. “[N]obody did this to them. They failed themselves.”

He then goes on to make the conclusion that it’s great these communities are dying out because they have a warped morality and are a dead weight on the economy.

“The truth about these dysfunctional, downscale communities is that they deserve to die. Economically, they are negative assets. Morally, they are indefensible,” the conservative writer says.

So Trump gains another 10,000, or another 100,000, or another 1,000,000, supporters. These guys couldn't do more to usher Trump into office if they tried.

      Jourdan's right. This is war.

    4. Thanks for posting this lewy. Williamson is insane. But that won't save him.
