Florrie, I thought it was funny. They're not conservatives, they're cucks, and have been for a loooong time. They're preening their feathers for their own show. I'm not interested in what they think. I don't care.
It falls in the same category as Graham endorsing Bush; knee-slapping humor. The utter disconnect between the GOPe and the average American voter is unbridgeable at this point. The distance between Jeb Bush and R/indie voters is greater than the distance between Jeb Bush and Bernie Sanders.
And the dems are having the same split. A huge number of Trump supporters are blue-dog dems. There is no place in the socialist/progressive whine-fest for them, especially white middle-class/working-class.
The more the elites throw rocks at Trump, the more supporters he garners. His campaign rallies are PACKED. I believe the dems will shit-can the Hillary/Bernie show and draft crazy old Uncle Joe in a vain attempt to stave off the inevitable.
Do I want Trump as my President? I don't know. I do know that if he is elected, I will have a voice, and a president who doesn't despise me for being white/straight/having a job/holding conservative values/toting a gun/thumping a bible/watching Dukes of Hazzard reruns/etc. etc.
The best news? If Trump wins, Whoopi is moving to another country. :))
George Strait has aged well. Yes he has. :)
ReplyDeleteNo argument here.
DeleteI've been so nostalgic today. I have no idea why. I've been iced-in for a couple of days; I guess I'm going stir-crazy or something.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that on FB today! All those lovely family/friends photos. Hope the weather improves for you soon.
DeleteMe too! :)
DeleteI really love your sidebar photographs Fay. Keep 'em coming! They're so uplifting and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWill do lady red :)
DeleteGreat selection of tunes lady, I never get tired of listening to Walking in Memphis.
ReplyDeleteI love that too, we have his cd and it's on my ipod shuffle.
DeleteYes, great selections, lady red. Really enjoyable.
What did you all think about the National Review conservatives coming out against Trump?

There is an open revolt against the GOPe, their talking-head minions, Fox News in general, and Megyn Kelly in particular.
DeleteSing it, sistah!
An open revolt against Megyn Kelly? Because she had the gall to ask Donald Trump about his awful comments about certain women?
DeleteCount me out.
