  2. I wrote an obituary of sorts on my own blog.

    I remember when he had his stroke. We were all at the other place still, and although I had been ranting about the Disengagement from Gaza and Sharon's betrayal, I really didn't want him to go like that, and be left in a coma for 8 years.

    He was an incredible man. A great builder and a terrible destroyer. He helped to create and shape Israel and yet he almost brought it down.

    I wish we could have known what he would have done about Gaza after he saw the results of the Disengagement - constant missiles on the south, and finally reaching Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. But he never saw the full results of his actions because he was felled by the stroke almost immediately after.

  5. God rest his soul. He was indeed a lion, I admired him very much. What a tragedy for his family that he was in a coma for so long. I hope he was in no way aware of his condition during that time.
