One of the comments on that thread saw the the effect that Tea Partier's response would be simply be, "Oh yes he will." How many on the left mock conservatives like we are paranoid dolts?
Today a court said that Obama's appointments to the National Labor Relations Board were unconstitutional, and therefor void. The NLRB's response? They are going to ignore the court decision.
Just how many extra-Constitutional and unconstitutional act must the American public endure before leftists think it is appropriate for people to be concerned?
I watched a great video on PJTV today. I think it summarizes the dangerous very well.
I pray for the day that this national nightmare is over.
Excellent video, Matt, thanks for the link. I have a great deal of respect for Bill Whittle.
ReplyDeleteI did not watch the inaugural address, or the anti-constitution (wait, I think ALL his speeches are that) gun control speech prior to it.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, come to think of it, I have YET to watch any more than snippets from any speech given by this man. My sanity already hangs by a thin thread, I don't need the total absurdity as shown by those thankfully short out-takes to attack that thread with a verbal box cutter.
I know what you mean.
DeleteHello lo lo lo lo?
ReplyDeleteIs anyone here ere ere ere ere?
I stopped by but I'm sick so I'm not saying much...
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better, Dances.
flo, Dances, hope your feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteAmerican Interior Ministry troops.
Yeah, that's it. Put para-military cops on the streets to intimidate, not only the thugs, but everyone.
DeleteGovernments at every level are pushing the envelopes of repression, and sooner or later one of those envelopes is going to tear wide open.
Is anyone watching this staged farce in Las Vegas? I normally can't stand the sound of his voice but out of curiosity, I tuned in.
DeleteHe is now trying to trump the bipartisan efforts at immigration legislation and take credit for it - not to mention the implied "threat" to demand passage of his own bill "immediately" if the gang of 8's plan isn't passed. The arrogance and conceit of this person is truly breath-taking.
The dems have supported him but Schumer and the rest aren't going to like this speech one bit - they are protective of their turf and won't like it being usurped by Obama. They (dems) pleaded with him not to do this campaign-type even in Vegas but he knew better. It will be interesting seeing how it plays out.
No, Florrie, and you should not be either, it will only make you feel more sick ;)
DeleteAnywat, I am glad you are feeling well enough to get angry with the Current Occupant.
Thank you for your good wishes, lewy. I've had bronchitis or something similar but I'm happy to report that this morning I'm feeling better so I'm over the hump!
ReplyDeleteGawd, he's STILL talking, blah blah blah blah blah
They filled the crowd with Latinos, he just mentioned a guy he brought along with him as a prop...mentioned he was from Mexico and got a huge cheer from that little factoid.
Heaven help us.
I'm glad you're better florrie!
DeleteBTW...$1.6 million cost to the taxpayers to fly him down to Vegas to Del Sol High School for his "campaign-style" little speech.
ReplyDeleteNothing but the best on the taxpayer dime. On every level of govt. I heart today that IL may try to get federal tax $$ to pay for their unfunded pensions.

ReplyDeleteGreat pic florrie! :))
ReplyDeleteI didn't watch the JEM today. He and his ilk make me sick. Ptooey.
I wonder...how soon until the asses in the Senate grow tired of Obama's narcissistic style? Durbin and Schumer must be positively FUMING today. Politicians don't like being upstaged.
Happened to hear one of the pro-illegal group spokewoman on NPR today.
ReplyDeleteShe was praising the Senate bill, except for the border enforcement provisions, about which she whined 'We don't need to be spending money on the border'.
The implication, to me, was that we should be spending it on more programs for the illegals.
Which is why I believe the repubs won't sign on to this bill without border enforcement first.
ReplyDeleteThen let's see what King Barky does.
I don't mean to sound jaded, but the repubs have made a career out of caving to whatever the Obama regime wants. Maybe Rubio can help them find their courage and their principles, but I highly doubt it at this stage in the game.
Deletelr if you're not jaded you're not paying attention.
DeleteMoar trooth! Obama not destroying GOP, Republican Establishment is!
DeleteSheesh, lewy, get with the program, it's troof.
Delete;-)
The NLRB's response? They are going to ignore the court decision.
ReplyDeleteThis is precisely why the Supreme Court under weak kneed Justice Roberts will cave in and reverse the Appeals Court. Same reason gutless Roberts called a penalty a tax (little Roberts bitch boy baby thinks a discretionary fee for non-performance is suddenly a uniformly applied tax? Soon traffic tickets will be "taxes.") ....fear of being ignored. Seed planted in the State of the Union speech in 2011, and blatant extortion threats leading up to the ACA vote. Plan on the same for this NLRB. You no longer have a Court as a co-equal part of your government...and no longer have an operable Congress either, since they can't produce a budget, their sole Constitutional mandate.
We are now in an autocracy, whether you realize it or not. There is a very real threat of being a one party state by 2016.
Hell this new bi-partisan immigration proposal is 99% bullshit nonsense and everyone should know it. it won't work and only a fool really believes it will work.
Hey Ari - saw this, thought of you!
DeleteHow do Hyenas observe Lent? By eating more Donkey!
:D
WTH? I know I can be a little dense but I don't get the connection...
Deleteoh, no hidden meaning... just thought the headline was cool for its robust, ebullient carnivorism...
DeleteRobust, ebullient carnivorism, lol!! OK, I get it ;-)
