Why Did You Think They Call Her 'Rogue'?

I have enjoyed the living heck out of watching a sputtering media try to talk down Sarah Palin, most especially claiming she was not a serious candidate, as they drove around behind her like a cross between the Keystone Kops and a mini-car full of clowns.

If she decides to run, she has my vote,  If not, she has my undying respect for the way she has shown the Washington Press Corpse as the fools that they are.

The only 'Wild Geese' in this chase were the honking self-important reporters who just cannot imagine how she could possibly not bow to their desires, and hand-feed them soundbites to twist into anti-Sarah stories.

    Nice touch there, Dances!

I've also enjoyed seeing her thumb her nose at the press, almost as much as I enjoy seeing Karma come around and kick Weiner in the (probably bare) a$$.

    LOL! Good one DWT!

I love watching Palin make fools out of the press. Tonight Brian Williams was choking with indignation over Palin's "Paul Revere" comment. This is the same jerk who said he wouldn't cover Weinergate because he has "more important things to cover". Like obsessively covering Palin's every move and utterance, Bri? LMAO! What a tool.

The libs are so afraid of Palin they're practically wetting their pants.

Keep going, lefty media, you're helping us win in 2012 for sure!

  4. There is a season for all things.

A time to sow, a time to reap, a time to issue press releases and itineraries, and a time to mock and wreck the pretenses of press releases and itineraries.

In another age, a different time, what Sarah Palin is doing would be contemptuous and self-involved. Reasonable people might conclude as much even in this age.

And so here is my case that this is the time to act out, cry havoc, let slip the war kittens, rage against the machine, transgress the boundaries, etc...

Because quite simply, the institutions of the political elite - the politicians themselves, the press, the party apparatus, the fund raisers, the consultants... all have failed, and have lost legitimacy.

There is a furious attempt by the media to distract us from this central fact.

If we do not collectively recognize the lost legitimacy of the elites, they will remain floating above us, like Wile E. Coyote over the canyon: refusing to look down, refusing to fall.

Mere words are not enough. Mockery on a vast and persistent scale is required. It must be relentless, visceral, and physical.

It is near impossible today to be a successful politician without being a sociopathic narcissist.

And it will be impossible to be maintain the requisite level of pitiless ridicule necessary to stimulate a general awakening without having the heart of a rodeo clown. And I say that like it's a good thing, because it is.

    Go Sarah.

  6. Best part of the Palin/Revere/Williams thing ...SHE WAS RIGHT and he was the untutored presumptive chump...as usual for him.

I also love it that the MSM sustains this Palin pursuit negatively so they can avoid coverage of the wiener man Weiner ... until he confessed and their sanctimonious defensive drivel was made farce. =))

  7. Ditto Lewy's comment: Go Sarah.

I do think she's a better promoter than she might be President, but with her new found poise and letting the media stammer and chase (and obviously study of subject matter) and toning down of the Alaska Hillbilly schtick, she's a killer on the campaign trail for anyone she anoints ... hopefully not another O'Donnell or Brown or Angle, losers all before they even started. The majority of her favorites did succeed, however, and that is what is needed again.

As for President, if she was elected, it would be interesting at the least, if she could avoid assimilation into the Beltway crowd ... which I think she could.

I think she'd represent a majority of Americans, even of some of them don't realize it. For me, her conservation ideas are anathema, but I guess I can't have everything. She could not be worse than Obama and his Interior and EPA offices ... right now working to save west Texas lizards and block oil and gas exploration, all the while dropping other endangered species from the list...with more to come. Agenda driven, without science considered.

And there'd be no chance she'd Twitter a pecker photo, eh?

  8. Lewy, you sure have a way with words! ^5! :)

Aridog, that's the funniest part...that Palin was right! This is the second time she's given the idiots a history lesson. And you're right; with Palin, there is no chance of pecker pics (thank goodness).
