Put Your Feet Up Friends!

Ahh, it's finally Saturday evening! Pour a bit of sour mash on a few ice cubes, close your eyes, and enjoy the melodic guitar of Mississippi John Hurt.

  1. Noah is grilling burgers, and toasting onion buns. Add a thick slice of red onion and some mustard...heaven!

  2. We were at the Canucks' game tonight. Then we spent half an hour after we got home trying to see us on TV.

So we didn't BBQ tonight. But that was some nice pickin' there, Lady Red.

  3. I listened to this last night and really enjoyed it lady red - was just to tired to type a coherent comment.

I just heard that OBL is dead and US has the body. I guess that means we got him, finally.

    I hope it's true...

  6. Obama was supposed to address the nation 45 minutes ago. Why is he always late? Has his teleprompter already gone to bed?

  7. Good riddance SOB. Burning in hell doesn't even begin to skirt the fringes of what that bastard is in for.

His 72 "virgins" have razor edged vaginas.

  9. Did anybody else watch the announcement? It might as well have been delivered by a robot - it seemed completely devoid of emotion, and Obama's body language certainly didn't convey satisfaction in what he was announcing.

  10. After reading that Obama and his team had been watching live-streaming video from helmet cameras on the guys who went in (including the final kill), I find his demeanor in the announcement to be more reasonable. I'd be surprised if he'd ever experienced anything like that before, and I would think that it would take anyone time to collect themselves a bit before issuing a statement, let alone holding it together for a camera.
