Happy Anniversary, Fay & RadioMattM!

Gosh, how time has flown! It seems like just yesterday when I met you both...and Thousand Sons. But it was 5 years ago today and that means wood.

Perfect for this day is 'Harmony', a statuette made from Balinese suar wood.

    Matt and I both took today off work so we are going out to play tourist for the day.

    Thank you very much everyone. Especially thank you to the most wonderful lady in the universe who still makes me say "WOW."

    I like that tie. It would take some hard work to stain that thing.

    I see Florrie used a photo of my best side :D

    We are planning to go to North Van today. We did some rearranging a month ago. We have a triptyche (three part painting) that we had not been able to hang together, but now we do have it hung as a set.

    That means we now have a bare wall that is begging for something. We thought we would try and find a scenic spot from which we could take a photo, make a large print, and hang it. Or we might see stop by the artists studio -- although I don't know if we can really afford that right now.

    If we take any nice pictures I will post them.
