"Idiotic level of idolatry"

Brilliantly written opinion piece in the London Telegraph.

  1. Jourdan posted an article by an Irish journalist the other day and marvelled at the writing skill.

Here is more proof that some journalist know how to write, brilliantly.

  2. Excellent. Absolutely excellent. This is a scathing assessment of the state of our union, and the anger building within.

Did Fox News create the anger, or merely tap into it? There is little doubt that Beck has led a well-orchestrated crusade against the corruption of our government and the idiocy of its self-serving policies (and made a boatload of money doing it). But as he veers more and more into quoting Bible passages and desperately trying to connect random dots, I see people turning more to writings such as these.

Fox went radically right to counterbalance the extreme left's total takeover of our news sources. They have served a purpose.

I would like to see one, even ONE, network be brave and honest enough to just REPORT THE FACTS. I doubt it will happen in my lifetime.

We haven't had the TV on in three days. What would happen if we all turned off our TVs, and quit listening to the shrill screeching and pontificating that passes for today's "news"? A lot more thinking and digging for facts, that's what would happen. And a lot more people would ponder articles such as this one.

  3. I just watched the videos of Beck's interview with Massa (HotAir). Malkin was correct that Massa is a slimeball, but I think Beck was correct to expose him for all to see. Massa made my skin crawl.

    Good job, Beck.

  4. Telegraph seems to be finding it's feet more these days. I usually always enjoy Janet Daly and Norman Tebbit has a blog there. I love him.
