Barry says - 'Don't Call Me Socialist!'

From Sweetness & Light, the Dem response to a GOP call for spreading fear and revulsion against Obama, the Dems, and their current rush to socialize the US.

Looks like politics as usual to me, but it really bothers me a bit that the GOP co-opted the lovely Barack-as-Joker 'Why So Socialist' poster. I hope they paid for the right to use it

  1. Bipartisan my posterior. Nothing the Republicans suggested is in the current bill (the Senate bill) that is up before the House (and the things that Obama said he would incorporate are things I am not interested in, and have nothing to do with the objections most people have about the whole thing). If those suggestions were in a bill, then the Senate would have to pass it again before it could go to the House. The House cannot change the Senate bill, or it could not be passed by reconciliation.

Are the folks at Sweetness & Light really stupid enough to believe that the Health Care scam is really bipartisan, or do they just think that the American people are stupid enough to believe it?

  2. Let me rephrase that, "the folks that are being QUOTED by Sweetness & Light."

  3. Matt, it was a Democrat fund-raising group, so of course their opinion of the American people is extremely low.

  4. Barry is not a "socialist"...he is a "nothing." The ultimate empty suit. Perfect placeholder for the Pelosi/Reid combine.

If the GOP starts up with this "Barry the socialist" meme...they're idiots. Say what he really is...NOTHING. Does nothing, muddles along, leads nowhere. Doing otherwise is playing in to the oppositions hand, almost perfectly.
