Besides that Pastor's church, another church in Alberta has been fenced off. The Minister of that church had spent a month in jail for violating COVID restrictions. After the minister was released, police wanted to go into the church to inspect while a service was in progress. An attorney for the church told the police that it was illegal to disrupt a religious service that was in progress. An officer told the attorney that they did not intend to disrupt the service so the law did not apply to them. Do not try this at home -- you would be in jail in a heartbeat.

The sad part of this is that the police are doing their best to alienate the people who would be most supportive of them. When devout followers of Judeo-Christian values abandon the police, who will come to supprt them, ANTIFA and BLM? Of course that is what the want-to-be tyrants in government want, especially now that they have been conducting a purge of the military in the US and elsewhere.

COVID is a wet dream to the want-to-be tyrants in governments around the world who want to crack down on such undesirable things as religious worship. 

Religious freedom is not the only right under assault. Politicians in a number of places, including the State of Virginia, want to make it illegal to criticize government officials, In other words, the main reason behind the First Amendment is to be made an exception to the First Amendment if politicians have anything to say about it.

What these tyrants do not realize is that if it really hits the fan, their supporters won't have the intestinal fortitude to stick up for their beliefs.
