Pathetic response from an uncaring government, made up for, in the end, by the extremely caring response by the people of a small village?
Not really, no. HOW could this have gone on for 60 years when with no-one from the DOD, or anywhere else within the US not knowing of it, and not informing his wife?!?!
Oh my Matt. Wouldn't it be great if this were shown in every junior high school in America? It's impossible to watch without tears, not just for this brave airman's wife, but for all the families who's loved one gave the ultimate sacrifice for FREEDOM.
It's infuriating that this widow had to wait a lifetime to find her husband. Our gov't, and the rascals who have embedded themselves there, stink.
