I've been running around all week with my eyes filling at every little reminder of what happened a decade ago. I suppose someday my emotions won't be so raw, but for today the empty sadness is so profound I can reach out and touch it.
I'll always honor and remember the heroic passengers of flight 93, the firefighters who charged up the stairways of the trade centers as the buildings crumbled around them, and the ordinary citizens who perished that day. Always.
