Agit-prop money can't buy...

I'm not sure exactly what the POV of this artist is exactly, but she could not have produced better agit-prop for the Tea Party if she'd tried.

Warning: if you're currently taking medication for seizures, depression, herpes... hell, anything at all... take it first... gin will do in a pinch...

The artist, who calls herself "Chapter", seems thoughtful and articulate and demonstrates awareness of the insanity which she portrays.

HT: Drudge, indirectly. He linked to this video, and I started browsing from there... apparently this is an entire genre...

  1. Lewy, I need an interperter... on oh so many levels. Besides, I'm on a a slow hotel wireless connection and am seeing it in ten second bouts. I mean really, what's it all about, other than the colorful outfits. I did read the comments under the 'demonstrates awareness' video so have somewhat of a clue. I do admire her talent, though that style of short cut scenes drives me up the wall. My eyes don't focus that fast anymore.

  2. Luther - quick tip - hit "pause" and wait till the video is fully loaded up - then hit play. Then it will play through.

The point of my post is that there is a conservative narrative about the culture of underclass people and the role of government handouts in dis-incentivizing people to work and achieve - and this girl is validating that narrative in ways that Breibart, Drudge, Beck, Steyn and the entire staff of National Review could not possibly have hoped to match in terms of expressiveness and authenticity.

I tried that, it didn't work. YouTube is up to some tricks, I think. Then again, my slow connection may have more to do with that.

"could not possibly have hoped to match in terms of expressiveness and authenticity."

I got this part, but I couldn't understand her language other than through the comments.

Doesn't make any difference what I say or think. The world has moved on. Good luck world.

  4. Luther - heh - truth is I don't understand half of what she says either. What I do understand comes in loud and clear, though.

  5. I saw the video that was linked on Drudge, but did not go further.

These are the people who will re-elect Obama because they're getting part of his 'stash of cash' or at least always vote Democrat in order to live for free, without the sweat of their brows.

What choice do they have, as the also Democrat-controlled 'schools' they were subjected to taught them nothing except self-esteem, even when there is no reason whatsoever for it.

  6. Anybody ever catch an episode of a show called "Hardcore Pawn"?

Our culture is going down the toilet, well - let's face it, it's already flushed down the toilet. WTH is going on with the black community? Is this really what King, Edgers and so many others died for? The monthly "MFing" welfare check along with a second grade education? Lots of 'tude representin' the hood?
