Populist? I think al-Reuters would have been calling him a "right wing extremist" last week.
Apparently Reuters wants to continue selling content in Europe. Funny how they scramble to get back onside.
The courts in the Netherlands were forced to choose between their institutional legitimacy and their policy preferences. Their instinct for self preservation won out - and perhaps they felt their country would be ill served by a judiciary widely perceived as discredited.
Our various questionable institutions should likewise be made to choose.
I'm sure it is, Pamela and everybody. Even though I'm not that conservative (other than on the National Question and a few others) -- more like classical liberal; and I'm easily distracted by boobies...
There is sanity in this world. And in Europe, even!

ReplyDeleteNice to see you here, Solus. Note that Lewy remembered you like pretty girls, and boobs, .... among your many virtues (of course. :D )
ReplyDeleteGood God, it's Solus Rex!
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Vienna, my old online friend.
