Here is a wonderful story of corporate generosity, military moral and feel goodiness. Kudos to all involved.
Bravo "Timmies"
Our franchise does make money, although it doesn't show a profit, Culligan said. All revenues go toward the morale and welfare of the troops for things such as Christmas parties and family gatherings. One-third of that is spent on the troops here, one-third to whichever base in Canada is supplying the bulk of the troops for a rotation, and one-third to the other bases at home.
What a wonderful story. Thanks for posting it Fay! I needed a bright ray of sunshine this morning. :)
ReplyDeleteI love, love, LOVE Tim Hortons.
ReplyDeleteNow how many companies would do something like this, making zero profit? I think I can count them on part of one hand.
Our first big argument was at a Tim Hortons (well, not INSIDE, we were in the parking lot). I have no clue what it was about, probably sprinkles versus cream-filled, lol!
Yes, it was a nice story to read this morning, thanks, Fay. We're on our way to my niece's graduation party, I believe she skipped the actual graduation but is having family members over for cupcakes. What can I say, she is a unique butterfly.
*sigh*
