    If it is worth seeing once, it is worth seeing again. Not that you are a big Marvin fan or anything.

    April 1, 1984 was a Sunday. I was working at a radio station in Seattle when the news came over the teletype that Marvin had been killed. I was on the FM side. I went to the guy on the AM side and told him, "Marvin Gaye has been killed. That's a shock."

    The guy on the AM side laconically said, "I'm sure it didn't make his night, either."

    Thank you, darling Fay. Even if you did post it before, I've never seen this live version so I'm very glad you posted it again! I have goosebumps!

    This is my ALL TIME favorite Marvin Gaye song. I know every moan and groan of it :-)

    Sigh. So sad that Marvin's gone. IMO, he was the sexiest soul singer of all time. OK, maybe tied with Otis.

    I think Marvin forgot his undies that night...

    I have Marvin Gaye's 'What's Goin' On' album on CD. His best, for my money.

    Now all I need is a functioning CD player.

    I could play it through the PC, but the speakers are for crap. No bass.
