Arthur or Martha?
After 16 flights over the last 3 weeks I'm not sure which I am. But this made me laugh when I got home tonight and checked out this British TV ad posted on Facebook by my nephew. LOL!
Tetley's or nothing! Or maybe Red Rose. But not Lipton.
ReplyDeleteJust looking after Fay's interests here.
Loved it, Fay, that was totally unexpected, lol!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're home once again, hope you will have a few weeks w/o air travel?
Was this nephew the dad of Sweet Baby James?
LMAO! That was hysterical! The ending was totally unexpected. :))
ReplyDeleteTetley? Red Rose? Lipton? Bah!!
ReplyDeleteBagged old musty chards.
Try real Orange Pekoe in moderate bulk...

I'm with Ari. Plus, Portland has made me a tea snob - so much good stuff.
ReplyDeleteAs for gin... I used to drink these:
Blue Pear Martini:
five parts Bombay Sapphire
one part Clear Creek Pear Brandy (local distillery)
Mix with ice. Gently stir, leave shaker sunk in ice bucket for 20 min.
serve in bowl-sized martini glass with a garnish of thin sliced pear.
Stop after one if you want to drive.
Stop after three if you want to think.
Stop after five if you want to live.
I miss the 90s.
florrie, yes, I get to stay home for at least two weeks yay!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, said nephew is the proud daddy of James (alas a baby no more!) and William.
Lewy, cocktail sounds delish...now if I only like gin...

LOL!
Whew, I think ONE Blue Pear would be enough for me, thank you!
ReplyDelete"But occifer, I only had tee martoonies!" ;))
Noah and I enjoy herbal teas in the wintertime, and Luzianne iced tea in the summer.
