The Paradox of Freedom

Have I mentioned lately how much I love my Prime Minister? Well I do, a lot.

There are, after all, a lot more votes — a lot more — in being anti-Israeli than in taking a stand. But, as long as I am prime minister, whether it is at the UN or the Francophonie or anywhere else, Canada will take that stand, whatever the cost. Not just because it is the right thing to do, but because history shows us, and the ideology of the anti-Israeli mob tells us all too well, that those who threaten the existence of the Jewish people are a threat to all of us.

G-d bless you PM Harper.

  1. A politician with a moral compass. He has never faltered in his beliefs or his policies. And he leads the country with a MINORITY government, one that could be ousted at the whim of the other parties at any time.

He cares more for his beliefs than he does for his power.

I am so proud, I could burst.

We should have more people like Harper in the world today.

  3. Amen Matt, even better if those "people" were the politicians.

  4. I love, love, love Harper as PM. He is a wise, good man, and we are blessed to have him. He does what is right in a quiet way, not compromising, but bringing others along so that even those in opposition can't say too much negative about him.

  5. When you're done with him, can we borrow Harper for a few years? Please?

    Pretty please?

  6. We hope to not be done with him for many years.

Hopefully the US can come up with someone good in the meantime.

  7. Hear, hear Matt! I'm sure there are some good people willing to step into the gap in the US; I think some were just elected to the House of Representatives. All they need is a little time and tempering before they're ready for the top job.
