SCOTUS Rules against Chicago Handgun Ban

Today, in a 5 to 4 decision (yet another reason why Kagan must not be approved)  the Supreme Court ruled in McDonald vs Chicago that the Second Amendment to the US Constitution actually applies to State & local governments.

As always, the Brady campaign remains delusional:

'Paul Helmke, President of the Brady Center and Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, issued the following statement:

“We can expect two things as a result of today’s decision by the U.S. Supreme Court in McDonald v. Chicago: the gun lobby and gun criminals will use it to try to strike down gun laws, and those legal challenges will continue to fail.'

I hope to see his head explode when someone finally takes the Sullivan law, the nations longest existing anti-constitutional gun ban, to SCOTUS.
