Does Aridog Know He's Having Tofu and Broccoli For Dinner?

Let's all cheer, it's meatout day in Michigan. Yes, really!

Now, Therefore, be it Resolved, That I, Jennifer M. Granholm, governor of the state of Michigan, do hereby proclaim March 20, 2010, Michigan Meatout Day in Michigan. In observance of this day, I encourage the residents of this state to choose not to eat meat. Eating a healthy diet can be fun. Explore the different recipes that can be created by using fresh ingredients and by having a sense of adventure.

    Guess it is finally time to pull the canines out of the old mouth then, if I am to vest myself from my omnivore ways and live a life of chewing on the grass in my lawn.

    Sigh! -Those where the days when it was cool to actually participate in my omnivoric genetic heritage, and not attempt to consciously subjugate a millennia of evolution...

    Broccoli...the fungus that grows from puddles of anti-freeze on asphalt.

    The Michigan Governess is about as clueless as they come....no surprise she advocated this...it is typical of her ineffectual terms in office.

    Fact is, even Obama didn't want her in any position of significance, giving her an advisory role without portfolio.

    Broccoli...the noxious fungal weed, first cousin to fetid Brussel Sprouts...aka steaming Cabbage Turds? The flouescent green pollution I find in Americanized Chinese food when in nearly 3 years in Asia I never saw broccoli used once in anything?

    "Hate" is way too mild a word.
