Chile - 9 days later
All of these photos were amazing, but a commenter picked up on how #23 looks like toys....until you focus in and realise those aren't toy boats and the debris is actually houses: The Boston Globe
True. I thought they were toys. Took a moment to realise they weren't. Scary AND sad. Turkey also suffered a pretty severe earthquake as well... Everything happens in 3's - Haiti, Chile and now Turkey.
KC, I think we're gonna be seeing more 3's if that's the case. There were also two large earthquakes in Taiwan and offshore Japan. Oklahoma just got hit by their first tornado of the season and Melbourne is being hit by hail and flooded by massive storms. Yeah, me too thinking that photo was toys - I skimmed right past it not noticing til a commenter said to look closely - those are real boats. Chile has moved 10 FEET to the east, and most of South America has moved, in smaller increments, toward the epicenter of the earthquake. No wonder they felt the quake in Buenos Aires - Argentina MOVED. South America movement

ReplyDeleteGeez, all the debris DOES look like toys. What a mess. :(
