In Obama's America

As usual, no-one does a better job of deconstructing Barry's MisStatement Of The Union speech than Mark Steyn.

  1. Hmm, I suppose it would have been better had I actually linked to Steyn's column, eh?

  3. I think you can go to that little pencil symbol, click on it, and the window will open up for you to edit your post! :OD Then you copy the link, highlight the text you it to go behind, the linky thingy will open up, paste in the link et voila! You're link is there, labelled ;O)

  6. I fixed it, too. Hope that didn't complicate things -- I just wanted to make sure I knew how to do it.

I guess one of us overwrote the other.

  7. I'm gonna have to try Firefox. I am tired of having to post comments a second time before it takes.

  8. Firefox doesn't like 7. It has serious "server not found" and Adobe Flash issues. It drives me CRAZY.

  9. But, to be on topic (oh no!), I am going to have to make Steyn a daily read. It's just that I find his page a little confusing.

Hopefully The Messiah will just keep on talking as he becomes more and more irrelevant.

  14. See, even after more than three people have tried to fix it, my original foul-up reigns supreme.

  15. I LOVE Mark Steyn. He filled in for Rush last Monday & Tuesday, what a treat!

  16. When you mentioned Rush, I screamed "incoming!" and ducked for cover.

Then I remembered where I was.

  18. I think Lady Red knew what she was doing. But even though she has Florrie mopping up, I refuse to clean Windows -- either Vista OR 7.

  19. Fay, I know what would be really funny: ban EVERYONE! You know, like, just for a while to revel in your Admin Superpowers.
Then you can put everyone back again.

I did that once when someone let me borrow the gavel (they had to leave for a while).
Everyone was very upset, but I got a giggle out of it :OP

  26. Er, excuse me florrie, did you get executive authority to use the flounce word?

Rush? I loved Rush, but I've outgrown them; kinda Holden Caulfieldesque...

    ...oops, wrong Rush, huh...
