Ghosts of Technological Inflection Points Past...



What I wouldn't give to walk around in this lost world for an afternoon. You can almost smell that world, watching the video.

What I mean by the title: "both kinds of carriages" (horseless, and "regular") living side by side here.

Sorta. First came "driving". About ten minutes later came "driving like an asshole". Evidently. ;)

    How many points did they get for running down a pedestrian?

    I'm not sure, but this looks like a film of San Francisco I have seen before..

    Or Israel. Man, those Israeli's are crazee drivers. On one of our cab rides in Jerusalem the driver was watching a cooking show on his ipad/tablet while driving (true story). Wish I'd taken a photo.
