Pics removed from front page. Have a happy Monday everyone!
Psst...it's almost spring!
Love the guitar girl! She's just so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThe last photo is of our son Jase. We're very proud of him! He's 31, owns his own home, works full-time, plus he and his wife have a successful side business that keeps them hopping. He's also working on his prereqs for the RN program. He too wants to be a nurse!
ReplyDeleteThanks AFW! She told me the other day that she wants to be a rock star when she grows up. ;)) She goes crazy when Jase and I break out our guitars and jam...now she can join in too! The guitar we bought her is 3/4 size, so she can wrap her little arm around it. :)
ReplyDeleteLet me post a couple of pictures that I don't think many have realized the similarity in ... but they are to me.
ReplyDeleteTebowing:

To all of those who've lost their lives in distant lands in noble cause.
How lovely lady red, thanks for sharing your pics with us. Em is just adorable (she looks a lot like you). She looks like a pro playing that guitar :)

Lovely sentiments, Aridog, Merry Christmas to you and Judi.
ReplyDeleteEmma is a beauty, those eyes! You and your mom look so alike, lady red. Thank you for sharing the pictures.
We are heading off to Tom's brother's house for Christmas dinner then tomorrow to my sister's for brunch with my side of the family. So we'll take pictures to post later. I just asked Tom to snap a shot before we go, I think you can just make out the beautiful crucifix he got me for a Chrismas present! As well as some Donna Karan body lotion. Of course, we now refer to it as "Vicks" ;-)

Don't have many pictures of myself, but of those I do, here's my favorite ... with the wild fox who decided we could be buddies....

And Judi with "Gomer" a few years ago...

Hope that everyone here's Christmas was Merry and that a New and Properous New year finds you all.
ReplyDeleteEven Luther, wherever you are ... :D
Here's a snap from last night's celebration with friends...

Merry Christmas to you and Judi, aridog. Thanks for sharing the pics.
ReplyDeleteWow lewy, that looks like a picture of my dinng room table on any given night! Red, red, wine...
ReplyDelete;)
But seriously, it looks like you had a great time!
florrie! Such a lovely picture of you and their majesties. Thanks for posting it, and yes, I can just see the crucifix.
ReplyDeleteYou look so happy.
TY, Fay, I am happy and it's a good time in our lives. Chaz is laying down next to me in the picture, he's getting to be an old boy.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks to Aridog and lewy for sharing those pictures too.
Thanks for sharing the photos everyone! Florrie, you look radiant! I'm glad you had a wonderful Christmas! Aridog, Judi is lovely, and that's a fine photo of two foxes (one short red one and one tall blue one!). Lewy, the table is so elegant...
ReplyDeleteAridog, I echo your wishes to Luther. I miss him when he's not here! Merry Christmas Mr. and Mrs. Luther!
Aridog, thank you for #4. I wonder if the drooling nitwits at ESPN (and elsewhere) would laugh at and taunt the young soldier as they do the young quarterback?
ReplyDeleteTo all of those who've lost their lives in distant lands in noble cause.
Yes. And to all those who spent their Christmases in a far away land, so that we may be safe, warm and secure around our colorful, twinkling trees.
I almost made a spectacle of myself this year when we put gifts in the Toys For Tots barrel. The marine was so very young, and stood so straight and strong in his crisp uniform. I couldn't stop the tears. He smiled at me and nodded, bless his heart. I probably wasn't his first sentimental old granny of the day.
Here is a picture of Fay's delicious, world famous Christmas pudding:
ReplyDeleteimgw:"http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y113/phasewest/2001ChristmasPuddinginBowl-1.jpg"
And the prime rib Fay prepared for dinner was to die for!
No pictures from me, though I was finally gifted with what I hope will be a decent digital camera.
ReplyDeleteThanks to everyone for sharing their pics, however.
Great pictures Lady Red! I saw them on the front page before you took them down. Your granddaughter is gorgeous, and she looks like a budding rock star already! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Florrie and Aridog for sharing your pictures too. And Lewy's and Matt's pictures make me want to dive right in.
Here are some pictures from our family Hannukah get-together at my daughter's house.
ReplyDeleteFirst up: how many little girls can fit on one grandpa's lap? (Actually, the little one at the front is our one-and-only grandson. The other 8 are all girls. 8-} )
imgw:"http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y169/annekl/img91.jpg"
Um, of course not all 8 are on hubby's lap. :))
ReplyDeleteHere you can see my 2 youngest grandkids: Ariel age 1 year and Hodaya age 9 months. It looks like she's telling him to watch it!
imgw:"http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y169/annekl/ArielHodaya.jpg"
And here is 2 yr old Tehila - the proof of the pudding IS in the eating! DIL made the most incredible chocolate cheesecake with chocolate covered puffed corn inside. ::swoon::
imgw:"http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y169/annekl/Tehilacake.jpg"
We had a great time. My parents were there too as well as my sister and BIL so the noise level probably broke all zoning laws. :-)
ReplyDeleteOooh, I think your Grandchildren are much sweeter than the chocolate cheesecake, Annie!
ReplyDeleteI hope Grandpa Pancake is doing well today.
Matt, LOL! Hubby's standard game with the grandchildren is to play Hopla Rider. The child (or children in our case!) are bounced on your knees to the words of a German song (the words of which we're not too sure of, but we get th general gist) about a horseback rider, and when the rider falls off into the mud, you slide the kids down your legs onto the floor. They just love it! And the more children that can crawl onto his lap the better!
ReplyDeleteAfter extensive scientific studies we have empirically concluded that the maximum number of children per lap is 4. :))
And I wouldn't be so sure about that cheesecake. One day you'll come here and taste it...
Oh, I have no doubt about the cheesecake. It's that the grandchildren are especially sweet.
ReplyDeleteAnd we will take that as an invitation....
It's that the grandchildren are especially sweet.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! :)
And we will take that as an invitation....
Wouldn't that be great? Something to look forward to one day.
What adorable pics, annie. Hugs to all your sweet grandkids...
ReplyDeleteI love those pictures! And I love the grandchildren's names.
ReplyDeleteI'm at the stage in life now where I'm glad we're done having children, but sometimes I hear the names someone else chose and think, "OH! That would have been a nice one!"
Your grandbabies are adorable annie! Beautiful Tehila is certainly enjoying the chocolate cheesecake, LOL! Ariel and Hodaya are so cute...they look like they're sizing each other up! Your hubby is outnumbered, but he looks happy as can be.
ReplyDeleteI love the kids of the Kitchen. :X
Woo, I just spotted some yummy delicious pudding up in #16. My mouth is watering!
ReplyDeleteWell, when are you coming up here to have some? Hmmm? I know, you need to finish school first. But you will have to give us six weeks notice (It takes that long). Not that you have to give us that much notice if you want to come visit -- just if you want the pudding.
ReplyDeleteTwo more semesters until we're RNs, and earning a decent paycheck again. We'll finish up the BSN while working full time.
ReplyDeleteFirst trip? Oregon, Washington, and BC! Don't worry, we'll give everyone plenty of notice...wouldn't want to miss that wonderful pudding! :D
Congrats lady red. Heading to the 'burgh in January to congratulate my cuz on the RN/Anesthesiologist degree/certification. It's a lot of work.
ReplyDeleteSounds like it. Please give him my congrats as well.
