The Left And The Moral High Ground

Jim Lacey at The National Review Online talks about the immorality of the left's world view, and how it contrasts with their salf-assurance in having the ethically correct stance on issues.

The subtitle reads 'The Left's "morally superior" policies kill millions and impoverish billions' and that is the completely correct view.

  1. The far left has no moral position. They live to bitch, to destroy, to whine, to wring their hands. They are, collectively, a black hole, relentlessly sucking society into their empty belly.

They will never be satisfied, and they will never stop. They are anarchy, they are destruction of all things good and decent, they are a soulless icy wind howling through our streets and countryside.

Frodo failed. The styrofoam demigod has the ring.

  2. That's the trouble, Lady Red - the left does have moral positions.

They firmly believes that it is more moral to grow corn for engine-damaging and mileage-reducing ethanol fuel than to feed hungry children.

More moral to save the mosquitoes than those children they infect with malaria or Dengue fever.

More moral to keep silent in the face of ongoing slavery, brutality against any infidel, and outright vicious misogyny against muslim women than to speak and injure the feelings of those committing the evils.

More moral to grope children and wheel-chair bound old women than to check the most likely terrorist flyers.

More moral to protest against the execution of brutal murderers of the innocent, while supporting the brutal murders of those most innocent, the unborn.

They certainly do have moral positions, it is simply that every one of them is wrong, and hence, actually immoral.

  3. Yes, but you are making moral judgements, Dances. Can't have that, you know.
