Since We Are Doing Music and Kipling....

It is sad that Jim Croce is known mostly for his novelty songs -- he was much better that that. Many of his songs were touching.

This is an early recording, from -- perhaps -- 1966 or so. I first heard it on a memorial radio program in early 1974. I have loved it ever since.

  1. I did not expect much from this. I mean, c'mon, Jim Croce?!?!?

He did a lovely job on it, and I am very impressed.

  2. Very nice, Matt. This is another one that's new to me. It's keeping me on youtube tonight, that's for sure.
