Sharia Is Mental Slavery

An interview in three parts with French blogger 'Gandalf' founder of the Alliance To STOP Sharia.

Part One.

Part Two.

Part Three.

There is probably nothing here that is not known to TCKTeers, but it is well-said, and shows some interesting turn of ideas.

  1. Gandalf is actually pretty radical about this, perhaps he has simply thought it through more than I have.

I really had no problem with halal foods or the celebration of Ramadan (although the construction of 'triumphal' mosques does irritate me greatly, until reading this:

"...at the present day, wearing Sharia-compliant clothing is an ostentatious sign of submission, and as such an open promotion of Sharia, a social conquest flag. Consuming halal food is another sign of submission, and a financial contribution for more Sharia in the society. And, in the mosques appearing in our towns, Sharia is often openly taught as a behavioural norm to our citizens, to defenceless children, to our neighbours."

  2. Going sort-of-off-topic, I finally, in collusion with an un-named (but lovely, kind-hearted, slender-thighed 39-year-old) co-conspirator, have managed to get a picture made that has been in my mind for a few weeks, and almost surely deserves my very own fatwa.

The trouble is that it still needs captioning, and all the text-to-picture sites I know of use only stock images.

Does anyone know of a free-ware program that will allow me to add words to an image of my own?
