A Tiny Victorian Cottage

I can't really explain this...you all will have to see for yourselves!

  1. Amazing, isn't it?

I must say, if I lived in that beat up old trailer, I'd be building a hideaway in the woods too!

  3. Damn hippies!

Just kidding, it's adorable and she has a good eye for what works in a small space.

And I'm with you lady red, beat up old trailor (and husband)would drive me into the woods as well. Check back in six months and there will probably be a kitchen and bathroom!

I was a little disappointed to learn that the flowers outside were fake :(

  4. OMG - I love it! ADORE it! I want to do that! (but with a potty and a kitchen).

What a great idea, too. My grandparents lived in separate houses on the same farm for the exact reason that these two have their own space - when I was growing up it always seemed weird to me when other people's grandparents lived together.

Anyway, I ADORE it. A lot. And now I want to make one.

    Coincidence? I think not.

  6. =)) Fay, you crack me up!

AFW, I knew you would love it. I do too; I told Noah I want to run out in the woods and build one just like it! Except with air conditioning. And a potty. And a kitchen.

Okay, I want to build one SORT OF like it. :)

  7. There is something sad and poignant about this, as though the lady who built it has nothing in her life, and engages in this romantic fantasy to compensate.

  8. I dunno, I agree with what Dances said. And her husband can't access the bed? lol, must have been a design flaw.

Well, they're doing their thing, he has his shed with the big-screen tv and games. If it keeps their marriage vibrant, more power to them.

  9. I like it.

I too see what DWT is getting at.

Poignant... but, I think there's room for a bit of poignant fantasy in everyone's life...

...and IMHO, one room fantasy houses are a heck of a lot classier than 30 room fantasy houses...

  10. Fay, LMAO!

They seem to have an interesting relationship. The husband seems kind of like a lay-about. I can understand the need for a retreat of her own.

Also, I'm wondering if the lack of a kitchen isn't a good thing. People around here always want me to cook them something... :)
