I've often thought about the poor schmucks still working in my old factory who are slaving away 60 hours a week while their tax dollars are financing the institution where I attend school. It has greatly troubled me over the past few years. It seems to me that I owe a tremendous debt to these people...but how to repay it? I honestly don't know.
Friedman certainly strips away all pretense and gets down to the brass tacks, doesn't he? He's amazing.
