Why Losing In November Means Nothing To The Dems

Mark Steyn, with very little humor, gives a frightening explanation of why the Dems do not care if they lose big this fall, so long as the 'Health Care' bill is law before that happens.

And I am sorry to say he is almost certainly completely correct in his assessment.

  1. If the Dems want open revolt, let it be. The problem with their type is that they have grown to abhore violence. If a majority of people believe that the government has more than overstepped its bounds, that majority will be willing to fight. The other side may get injunctions from the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, but won't have the will to fight much more than that.

I hate to think it will come to that, but it sure looks like it will.

  2. I agree Matt. These politicians (on both sides of the aisle, at the federal AND state level) seem to think they can govern without the consent OF the governed. No. Hell no. What is this? Russia? China? Venuzuela?

They've made an enormous miscalculation. Our backs are against the wall, and they're still pushing.

The progressives want to make the decisions, for the good of all of us stupid little people. Who are they kidding? This is a power grab, pure and simple. Too many people don't understand that yet...but they will. Oh, they will.
